Good pit-stop panini - Edit
Located inside the Varenna Food corner shop, very small, didn't have a vegan option on the board but I just asked for the vegetarian option without mayonnaise and it was fine, very friendly and helpful staff (offered to mind our suitcases inside at the counter while we ate in the very small outdoor area), the sandwich was very big, with two large pucks of veggie burger and lots of tomato and lettuce, tasted nice, good for something quick when arriving to or leaving from Varenna train station

We got a seasonal fruit smoothie for 5€ that was yummy. You can get to go or stay. If stay the cup and straw are reusable which was nice. We also got a vegan panini for 6€ and naturalmind salad for 8€. Make sure to double check your order at check out - the owner thought I said vegetarian but I didn’t know until it came out with cheese - they were able to remake it without problem. The salad was fresh and light. We also got some large rosemary crackers - on the counter next to the croissants and ciabatta - that were excellent. Good place for a healthy lunch, especially if you want something quick. Very accessible location.

Amazing sandwich - Edit
Really glad I found this spot, it's really close to the train station and I had a super yummy vegan sandwich with olive tapenade. As it is a grocery shop, there is also lots of fresh, tinned and frozen vegan produce available. Staff were very nice and spoke a bit of English.

The staff was a bit unfriendly after we asked for 2 vegan paninis. They just said "no. The paninis are finished". They just skipped us then.

Delicious vegan panini - Edit
Twice now I've had the vegan panini and it was wonderful. Crusty white bread is stuffed with thick slices of avocado, tomatoes, arugula, and spread with tapenade. Yum!

Have vegan panini and some snacks like bruschetta. Unfortunately we couldn't try the panini as avocado were hard, the bruschetta was really good. Staff is suoert friendly and helpful and they have vegan options in the store.
