Discriminatory Policies

During the pandemic this is the only place I have felt safe. They followed social distancing and allowed for mask exemptions and even offered buttons to those that could not wear a mask; recently however this has changed and while I support their right to change their policies as they see fit, I cannot support them any longer.

Pros: Good selection, Clean food., A lot of vitamins

Cons: Discriminatory policies, Unstable selection , Rude corporate office

great selection of vegan products

This location had so many more varieties of the gardein, daiya, follow your heart, meat and dairy products. Huge selection.

Pros: tons of options

Wonderful addition to other “health food” stores

I was thrilled to find Natural Grocer’s; I’ve been looking for non-dairy, unsweetened, plain yogurt for years & have finally found Forager Project’s cashew & CoYo coconut versions. Forager is tangy like yogurt & CoYo is more like sour cream (and a whopping # of fat grams: I combine the two 3:1 to get something reasonable). They run out quickly, so call first if it’s a special trip. ALL produce is organic. The store is pricey like Whole Foods so I buy bulk, on sale, and whatever i can’t get elsewhere. Their bulk section is different than WF; no bins so you’re getting pre-packaged amounts. But the prices on organic flours (I bake) is way better than King Arthur Flour online or local grocery stores. As an eco-freak, I’m thrilled they don’t use plastic OR paper bags; if you don’t have your own, they give you a box as Costco does.

Pros: Plain unsweetened vegan yogurt, unfound elsewhere, Great bulk section for whole grain & organic flour, Hard-to-find organic produce often here

Cons: Expensive generally, Has things I can’t find elsewhere
