Great bowls and salads!

What a great concept. Create and build your own healthy bowl or salad. Mine kind of eating. A few more vegan dressings would be nice but a great place.

Cons: Not many vegan dressings

Deliciously Fresh!

I had the honor of being able to try out MAD Greens before its public opening.

I ordered a salad, but created my own with their Create-Your-Own option, to ensure it was vegan-friendly. You get to pick which greens you'd like, choose 4 topping options, 1 add-in, and dressing.

My salad included baby greens, green onions, roasted corn, avocado, and edamame. My add-in was their Grilled Piri Piri Tofu. The tofu was unexpectedly tasty; the flavor was amazing. I was told that they marinate it for 24 hours. All of the ingredients were fresh and the large-sized salad (you have an option of regular or large size) was very filling.

There are 6 vegan dressing options, including a Roasted Red Pepper dressing, and a Sherry Molasses Vinaigrette. There are a few more options for vegetarians, such as a Honey Mustard and Spicy Sriracha Vinaigrette (these 2 both contain honey). And you don't have to worry about asking or remembering what's vegan because there is an ingredient list right next to the dressings which show which ones are vegan-friendly.

You can also do a little homework ahead of time. Their website had a neat interactive allergen menu. You just click all of the ingredients that you want to avoid and VOILA... All of the vegan-suitable options appear. Gluten-free options are also available.

Aside from salads, they have wraps. They have Paninis and soups, but none of them showed up as being vegan.

They have fresh juices, bottled drinks, tea, and a soda fountain with all organic soda options.

I had a great meal. Everything was delicious. I will definitely visit them again.

(They open to the general public on Thursday, 25June, 2015.)

AVOID THE PANINIS! The bread contains whey.

Pros: delicious/tasty grilled tofu, fresh, filling salads, lots of vegan options

Cons: No vegan bread options
