Organic produce, but no bulk bins

Natural Grocers is one of the better chain grocery stores in the US. All of their produce is organic, which we appreciate. They try to avoid GMOs. There are oodles of vegan grocery options. Prices are mostly reasonable — often cheaper than the other natural food options in town — and their sale prices are quite good.

This location sometimes has a small selection of non-packaged mushrooms, but not always, so sometimes we have to go to the Durango location instead to stock up on shiitakes and portobellos without plastic.

Unfortunately, Natural Grocers does not have bulk bins, so it’s impossible to buy most dry goods here without plastic waste. This is the main thing we wish they would improve.

The staff are friendly and helpful.,

We love vitamin cottage

We shop here weekly and seek it out when we travel

Pros: All vegetarian and non dairy products , Wearable art, Natural toiletries and incense

Cons: Need , More, Cashiers
