What a treasure of a place! - Edit
We treated ourselves and were delighted with the food, service and ambiance. I went for the buffet and had a modest sized plate of goodies for £5.00 which was amazing value. The flavours- ah I’m in love! I left room for delicious pudding- very wise! My picky daughter opted for bean burger and fries and hoovered up the lot. We had a great time. Prices are reasonable at £15 per head including puds, fab smoothie and coffee. A waitress came to chat and my girl ended up being gifted a sample milkshake from their soon to be updated menu- wow that hit the spot! First ‘proper’ milkshake in over a year for her.. We’ll be back with more family- and soon!

grotesquely overpriced - Edit
This is the first time I’ve left a review on this app, simply because I am so outraged at the price and quality of food on offer here. I would have given it a 1 star rating if this app let me.
Read moreThe vegan buffet is at first really appealing, and the array of options looks lovely. However there is 1 size bowl and 1 size plate to choose from. Filling the plate with a layer of curry (unable to pile on as very runny) creates a plate of food costing £15, for curry and rice.
For a plate of curry and a bowl of salad it cost £30 for 1 person’s meal. By the time the food is weighed and paid for the curry’s are then cold. And all the foods salad included is extremely salty! To the point that despite paying so much for the meal I had to leave half because it was simply inedible.
When you consider an average restaurant’s prices, a meal for 2 including drinks often averages £30, never mind a meal for 1 without drinks!
Should be a set price for the buffet not pay as you weigh as this is a gross rip off.
Pros: none
Cons: extremely overpriced , salty food , cold food

Amazing - Edit
Lovely meal , lots of choice . We had the vegan burger which was one of the best I have tasted. The Mayo was really great too. The puddings were lovely, slightly overpriced but still worth it. Finished the meal with a lovely tea which was fantastic.

Nice space in the city centre - Edit
Train cancellations meant I had some time to spare at Birmingham New Street today so I popped round the corner to Natural Bar and Kitchen while I waited. It is in a handy city centre location.
Read moreThey serve food from lunch all the way through the afternoon and into the evening which was really useful. The free wifi meant I could work while I waited too.
Service was friendly. The nachos were tasty and beautifully presented. Prices seemed reasonable, especially given the central location.

Gourmet quality food and great vibe - Edit
Amazing food and atmosphere. Best gluten free bun I have ever had (infused with charcoal I believe), let alone the scrumptious burger patty... came in for work and had to bring in my partner to share the goodness!! I foresee great things for this place xx

Amazing! - Edit
I've came here for lunch and it was great. Ordered burger with fries and coconut cake for dessert among with mocha. Food is very fresh and delicious, waiting time very short and very kind staff. Really recommended for everyone who wants to have healthy lunch. I'm sure meat lovers will enjoy food here as well.

Great find - Edit
We had a lovely dinner here. We got there just before closing, so missed the music. The Ultimate vegan burger and tofu "fish" and chips we had were very good. The service was very friendly.

Hearty, warming, welcoming - Edit
A gloomy afternoon in Birmingham called for some warming goodness. Went all out on the stroganoff and the roast veggies, had my tastebuds doing flips! Real nice place to chill out with lovely staff in addition.

Excellent vegan choices - Edit
There is something here for everyone (vegan or not), and it's so nice to be able to choose anything from a menu without having to check it's suitability too. I understand they also do quite a few gluten free options too if that is something that's important to you.
Read moreI had the Natural Burger with a side of Kaleslaw and some homemade ketchup. The burger was very filling and tasty but could have been a bit hotter. I wasn't cold enough to send back but it felt like it had been sitting on 'the pass' for a fair few minutes. My (non-vegan husband) had the tofu 'fish' and chips which were really hot and crispy so maybe my dish was waiting for his!
Anyway, didn't try this time the eat by weight buffet option but might in the future when we next visit Birmingham. Would definitely go again - we walked from Symphony Hall which only takes 7 or so minutes depending on what route you choose.
All in all a great find for me.

Pros: Lots of choice, Good size portions, Not too pricey
Cons: Not so easy to find via Google maps using postcode, Might be noisy at times if that's not your thing, Order from the counter, so tricky if on your own

Hip vegan restaurant - Edit
By chance I came across Natural Bar and Kitchen while exploring the city center of Birmingham. We were lucky to arrive at a time where it wasn't very busy. Brunch was offered via a big buffet where food is charged by weight or ordering via the regular menu was offered as well. This is the option we took as we wanted to try the burger as well as one of the sandwiches from the regular menu. The food was tasty and the portion size ok. Desserts were also on offer, which we of course had to take advantage of as well. Lot of options were raw. And while the dessert was tasty the portions were very small and the price a bit too high for what it was.

Good flavors, good service - Edit
Natural Bar & Kitchen is a great neighbourhood hang-out that serves tasty food with warm and helpful service.
Read moreAs tempting as some of the buffet items looked, I opted to order from the menu on both of my two visits. My favorite meal was the Ultimate Vegan Burger with a side of sweet potato fries. Delicious! I also tried the tofu fish and chips, which I found OK but not nearly as flavorful as the burger. The matcha cheesecake was a treat.
I would've returned for more had I been in town longer. Hopefully another time...
Enjoy!

A Touch of Class - Edit
This is a fabulous vegan place. The food is top quality and varied. The menu includes ‘fast’ food like burgers and raw delights such as the onion bread and cheezecake. I had the ‘Ultimate Vegan Burger’ and I have to say they were not exaggerating . Black bean patty with pulled jack fruit, avocado, coleslaw, fries, mayo and spicy sauce - brilliant. My partner had a plate of salads from the weigh and pay menu - a huge portion for £11. Thank you for a great meal and I hope you carry on getting more popular!

Dear Natural Bar and Kitchen.
Read moreHope you are doing great.
I had lunch with you last Saturday and yes, Jessss Yes I met THE Onion Bread !!!!
I came back home in London and I am not able to keep going with my life. That bread is in my head. I`ve been trying to find the recipe for that bless. The Universe knows I tried. But I am not able to find one that sounds like yours.
So, I would like to know if by any chance, would be possible to have your magic way to make that. If you want, I can swear that I will never give this recipe to anyone. Please?
I wish your were here in around the corner. But... You are 2 hours away from me.
Thanks for your attention.
