Delicious

Lots of vegan options and delicious curry, one of the best I’ve had for ages. Beautiful restaurant too. Agree the food was quite salty, but I quite like this. I understand it’s not to everyone’s taste though.

Not too bad

There is a veggie restaurant in Sarlat-la-Canéda but it t is closed Monday. Went here instead. It was OK. I do like Indian food and have a lot of it so it has a lot to be compared with. As I say it was ok. As other people have said it’s a bit salty, but not bland. I would go another time so I suppose that says everything. Not the best, but worth a try.
They don’t open until 11.30 btw AND the website link doesn’t work

Pros: Nice ambiance , Not too bad a vegan selection, Very friendly and helpful staff

Vegan Thali not vegan

A bit disappointing.

Service was very good. Food was okay. Some where very tasty. But some where way too salty to eat. I am sure the chef did not try them before they went out of the kitchen sinds it was really uneditable because of the salt. We had the idee the chef did not really put his love in the food. The rest was okay, but not great.

Pros: Service , Environment

Cons: Extremely salty , A chef who lost his passion for cooking?

The food was so delicious.

we had the vegan and vegetarian thalis plate. It included 3 small starters, 3 curry's and 1 dessert. It was priced at 17€ which was quite cheap for a 3 course meal. The menu clearly indicated vegan and vegetarian options. The currys were creamy and tasty and included naan bread. Would definetly recommend this restaurant if u are looking for a vegan menu.
Staff was also very friendly and helpful

Pros: tasty and creamy, clearly vegan indicated on menu, affordable

A Shangri la in a vegan desert

As many already said, In a vegan desert as all this region is (most of the people seemed has ever heard the word vegan ) a place that offers you a whole vegan lot in a beautiful settlement feels a near paradise experience and helped me to forget the awful pate de fua market day that was going on

A vegan thali very generous but of unequal taste

This Indian restaurant is one of the few places with decent vegan options around Sarlat. We went there for dinner and had the vegan thali clearly marked on the menu. Other dishes are vegan but you have to ask the waiter who knows about vegan diet. The thali was very generous, with naan and papadam, rice and several sauces, pakodas and samossas, and dessert. Some parts were very good and some parts were a bit too greasy, not very qualitative. Overall, the experience was ok but not exceptional, I would have expected a more qualitative Indian food. But the place is nice, centrally located and affordable. Try it if you are starving in this area of foie gras maniacs.
