Extremely spicy 🥵 not friendly, ok for vegan - Edit
I don't usually eat in non-vegan places but I felt "quite comfortable" since the waiter was aware of the ingredients and could tell which plates don't contain animal products. He was very helpful but still all the staff was unprofessional and not friendly at all. Anyway we asked for not spicy food when ordering but we had to leave most of it because it was extremely hot 🥵. No apologies from the waiter (who didn't even ask if everything was okay, by the way). If you're vegan in Goreme check "Quick China" instead.

Good food - Edit
Visited around 5:30 and the restaurant was empty, ordered the chilli mushroom, rice and mutter mushroom, staff understanding of what vegan food is and helped us order, on the more expensive side compared to other restaurants but we loved everything!

Good food, terrible service - Edit
You need to order online and the vegan plates are not labelled or described. Its very hard to have help to know what is vegan and I didn't got the impression that it was important. The food was good, not awesome, but good. Our friends wanted to take just a glass of wine with us but after 30 minutes waiting for it they left. The service is rude and chaotic. For exemple, we receive ice for our wine 10 minutes after we finished it 🤷♀️.

Very nice - Edit
Lovely food. The prices are high but better than other places in Goreme. They have a vegetarian section on their menu but just be careful, something might contain butter, so just ask before you order.

Delicious vegan options - Edit
Cappadocia isn’t exactly winning awards for their vegan scene, but Namaste India was surprisingly great! The food was damn delicious and affordable, with almost anything on the veg menu being able to turn vegan on request.

Staff was so kind - Edit
I loved how kind and attentive the staff was. I was actually wearing a “go vegan” shirt and immediately a waitress came up to me and let me know their vegan options—she was awesome!! The food was tasty but a bit on the oily side.

Food okay, awful service - Edit
Definitely had better indian food but food was good enough with lots of options. 15 mins wait for table, 10 mins wait to get a menu, 20 minutes to take the order and 40 mins wait for food, and even then they got the order wrong. Really disappointed and it messed up the evening plans

Marvellous flavoursome food - Edit
The restaurant is buzzing and the staff may not see you at first but it's really worth the wait. We were lucky to get a table on the patio outside, which was less crowded than inside. The staff are knowledgeable and are able to tell you exactly which dishes are vegan. This is really important in a small town like Göreme.
Read moreFor starters, we had parkora and for mains, we had dal tadka and aloo jeera with tandoori roti. Everything was delicious and packed with flavour. The food was served fairly quickly. We would have eaten there more than once if we were in Göreme for longer.
The only con is that they weren't as attentive since they were so busy and the spatial layout and design could do with an upgrade to match the delicious food.

Hearty food, friendly service - Edit
I was very surprised to see multiple Indian restaurants in this small Turkish town... but I'm glad this is the one I tried! I saw it on HC first & felt confident based off the reviews - and I was right!
Read moreFriendly service (like everywhere in Turkiye), staff had good English to ask questions about what was vegan friendly & they were well informed with the menu. I ate here twice in 4 days in Goreme hehehe
The cumin potatoes, samosa, aloo gobi & dal tadka were all very delicious! The roti can be vegan if you ask.
It has many Indian guests eating inside & I overheard people complimenting the food so you know it must be good!!
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Food comes pretty quickly, Air conditioned inside
Cons: The first time I went they were out of samosa

So delicious and authentic - Edit
You know it’s a good restaurant when everyone eating is also Indian. I’ve had such a hard time eating in Turkey and haven’t loved a single thing. Finally I ate a full meal and only for 22$ we had two meals, lemon soda, white rice, vegetable biryani (amazing) and naan bread.

They clearly know the difference between vegetarian and vegan food. Few meals I tried were very tasty. My favourite was potatoes with cumin, absolutely delicious. Waiters were nice and friendly.

Big range of veggie and vegan options - half the menu! I really enjoyed the salad and the cumin potatoes. Very Friendly staff and great price for the veggie curries (cheaper than the meat options). Would happily return 😊

Best vegan food in Cappadocia - Edit
Their menu is half veg and the vegetarian meals can be easily adapted for vegans. We had two veg curries and biryani rice to share and found them super delicious. We visit Göreme almost every year and this is the best Vegan food so far (not many options). The prices are fair and there’s a lovely Indian-Turkish concept inside. Highly recommended.

Best Indian I've had in years! - Edit
Me and my boyfriend were super happy to find this place walking by after a long day hiking and I think we were delusional with hunger and ordered food for about 6 people. Everything we had was amazing. The crispy corn, samosas, pakoras and chili mushrooms were all vegan and out of this world good. Then we also ordered 3 curries rice and roti for me (Vegan) and naan for my boyfriend (Vegetarian), the vegetable jalfreeze and chole masala were spicy and flavorful and the dal was perfect to cool it down. Portions were also huge so we will be eating Indian for the next 2 days but we are not upset. So nice to have a such good vegan food after trying to navigate mostly meat restaurants in the area for a few days. A must visit if you are veg or vegan in Goreme!
