Nicest vegan option in town - Edit
After looking around town for a decent vegan option in town, N17 offered up a clearly labelled vegan burger with wonderfully melted vegan cheese (optional).
Read morePotato scallops and sweet potato sides with vegan Mayo went down well. Local beer which supports sea turtle conservation a must try. Thanks N17. Will be back if we ever travel FNQ again for sure!

Best vegan burger in town - Edit
This was a lentil and vegie burger, which I generally prefer to mock meats. Tasty patty, fresh crisp salad, chips with vegan aioli. Staff understood what was and wasn’t vegan and were really welcoming.

Okayish burger - Edit
I was glad it was veggie patty as I prefer those over mock meat. Chips were very salty. Good for a quick meal but there are better options.

Good location and burger - Edit
I prefer mock meat burgers but this veggie patty was great. Burger was pretty big and the side of chips was enormous for the price.

Satisfactory - Edit
Was happy that they had a vegan burger. The description of the place on happy cow said that the onion rings were vegan, but when I went to order them with the vegan burger I was told they weren’t:(

Delicious veg pattie - Edit
I much prefer veggie patties to mock meat ones. This one didn't disappoint. I just noticed on another review that they are cooked with the meat. I wouldn't have got it if I had know that. Hopefully that has changed. 😕
Read moreI paid an extra $4 for vegan cheese, and they forgot to put it on. As I got takeaway, it wasnt convenient to go back.
Otherwise, a delicious burger.
Pros: Yum, Filling, Veg patty
Cons: Not many options, Is it cooked with the meat?, Forgot my cheese

Go somewhere else for a burger - Edit
I’ve had many veggie and vegan burgers worldwide in my last 4 years as a vego and I must admit this one did nothing for me. Maybe it was bad luck because the ingredients sounded good on paper but it was so bland, over fried and overall not worth it. It made my stomach feel a bit off, my partner too wasn’t found of it. However the chips were nice, staff lovely and little good pub overall.

Awesome veggie burger!! - Edit
This veggie burger was one of the best i have ever had. No fake meat, just good vegetables. It was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The homemade jam was also amazing on the toasted bun. Also get the sweet potato fries!!

Same fryer used for meat - Edit
Staff confirmed the vegan burger is cooked in the same fryer as the meat. This also includes the chips.

Great value, great taste - Edit
There is only one vegan option, being the vegan burger, but it is delicious! It was the best value vegan option I found on that road.

Huge and filling burger - Edit
Veggie burger (which is also vegan) was tasty, filling and about half the price of any other main meal we’d seen whilst walking down the high street in port Douglas- $13.50! Ordered chips too which was a ginormous portion I couldn’t finish for $3.
Read moreOnly other comment is that I found the burger quite greasy and ‘unhealthy’ tasting. Stupid comment as, yes, it’s a burger! but it was a bit too greasy for me.

good fast food option - Edit
The veggie burger is vegan without needing anything removed now. The onion rings are no longer vegan though (they changed supplier). The burger was tasty and filling. The Barrier Reef beer is good too.

Tasty Vegan Burger on menu. - Edit
I had the only Vegan option on the menu, a chickpea and sweet corn Veggie Burger, served on a sourdough bun with lettuce, tomato and vegan aioli. It was tasty and filling and a good option for lunch in Port Douglas where Vegan options are not plentiful. The chips and sweet potato fries are also Vegan.

Very good - Edit
One vegetarian option, but ask for it vegan and they will add vegan mayonnaise. Pretty sure it is a homemade patty, so it is something a little different, and fills you up more than a normal veggie burger.

Fast and convenient vegan option - Edit
There is one vegan option make sure to check with staff so they can veganise the vegetarian burger. We also had sweet potato fries and onion rings which were both tasty and portions were huge for the price. It also open late every night so a great spot for a casual lunch or dinner!
