I didn’t want to stop eating - Edit
This place absolutely deserves 5-stars, as almost everything is vegan.
Read moreWe ate the lunch plate with burger patty, the coconut curry and the tiramisu. And they were all amazing. Might be some of the best vegan food I’ve had in a long time. I ate with only the tiniest mouthfuls to prolong the experience.
The restaurant itself is nice too
Pros: Delicious, Lots of vegan options , Tiramisu
Cons: Drinks are expensive

Must try in Kyoto! - Edit
Amazing cafe/lunch place. Lots of great options, the ramen in particular was incredible. The desserts are delicious, i had to go back the next day for more cheesecake.. And it’s not very expensive, I payed around 1600 per person including dessert. In the back they even have a small health store with a lot of vegan products I haven’t been able to find elsewhere in japan.

Cute little hipster cafe - Edit
We had lunch here and all the food options were vegan, bar a few drinks. I had Sichuan style noodles and my partner had the ramen, well priced and delicious. You can even choose the size of your meal which is great.i really loved the decor too.

Yummy & Creative - Edit
FOOD : I had a coconut curry, which was really delicious. Right amount of spiciness, well presentend. The portion was too small for my taste, but I tend to eat a lot.
Read moreTheir soy milk parfaits are a must try ! The hojicha and matcha ones are incredible. I'd go back just for that ;-)
ATMOSPHERE : We had lunch there a bit before 1pm. It was crowded and quite noisy. You may have to wait a long time downstairs to have a seat, especially if you go during the weekend. Better to come before noon. It a popular place amongst Japanese and foreigners alike.

Delicious!! - Edit
I ordered the curry and a tiramisu. Both were delicious! Especially the tiramisu, WOW. Minus for being kind of expensive and that they have stopped selling a lot of the dishes on the menu.

We had to come back!!!! - Edit
The staff was very nice and attentive both times we went.
Read moreThe first time went my boyfriend ordered the Momokuteki Lunch Plate which had a wide variety of tasty flavors and textures. His favorite was the mushrooms. I ordered the Sesame Miso Soup Ramen which was AMAZING!! The broth was creamy, rich, and flavorful all at the same time! I shared a few bites of my ramen and I knew my boyfriend had ramen envy. Soooo, we went back😄I knew he was going to order the Sesame Soy Miso Ramen and my intention was to order the other ramen dish but, when it came down to it, I had to order the Sesame Soy Miso Ramen again and it was just as amazing as the first time. For dessert I ordered the Matcha Soy Milk Shake and that was THE BEST matcha shake I've ever had!! We will probably go back a third time to try some items from the dinner menu.
Cons: Moderately expensive

Super satiated! - Edit
The ramen here was absolutely gorgeous: the spices were just perfect, and the noodles were so tasty. We also stayed for a couple of hours after eating our ramen, working on laptops and reading. We later ordered dessert (pancakes and parfait) and coffee and were so pleased with our choices, the ice cream was so creamy and the pancakes were fluffy and filling! My only qualm - as a coffee lover - was that the mug wasn't filled up enough! (but the coffee blend was single origin and very tasty)

Holy Wow - Edit
If you are a vegan in Kyoto you must go here. I had the most amazing parfait of my life. I wasn't having lunch but stared enviously at everybody else's. Definitely a boujee place to go so don't expect a cheap meal, and there are often long waits for tables but I was on my own so got in straight away. I want to go back to Kyoto just so I can eat here again!!

Excellent Ramen - Edit
Very good and satisfying ramen, large bowl comes for a fair price. It's a different twist on the usual vegan ramen (soy milk broth or Sixuan pepper broth with fried soymeat).

Perfect for lunch - Edit
This place is awesome for lunch (served until 15:00). The lunch set is massive, I always give a small donation to my partner because I can’t eat it all. After lunch there is a small menu before their dinner starts at 17:00. So far everything I’ve had here is good and have never had to wait or been told something was sold out(guessing I’m super lucky?) but I wouldn’t complain even if it was because it’s good and there are other options around if it doesn’t work out here innit!

Understand why it’s popular, but better options elsewhere - Edit
Look, I can see why people like this place. Good lighting, hip looking, solid food. But the lunch menu is really not impressive, and both times we went, there was a wait. Kyoto has a lot of great vegan options, so I would encourage everyone to try somewhere else, especially if you don’t care about the Instagrammability of your meal.

I went there last year and was a bit disappointed. But I decided to give it another try and went back recently. I got a basic burger and a cake, I have to say that it was way tastier than I remembered. I'd totally recommend the place, they have so much sweets to choose from!
