Apparently two vegan dishes, but are they?

We went there and ordered the two dishes that were labelled as vegan. However I’m really not sure if the vol au vant actually was vegan - even more so after reading the other comments here.
The vegan brekky was alright. Nothing special, could be better

Slowest service possible

So you are in Killarney and would like to do what every other tourist does.
To do the walk through te Gap of Dunloe you have to catch the bus at 9am.

20 mins should be enough to grab to coffee to go so we followed the sign to Mug & Bean.

There, we waited for ten (!) minutes in a line of three (!) parties.
And when it finally was our turn, the girl behind the counter started a lovely chat with a women instead of taking our order.

Considering the speed she had shown so far, we left without coffee in order to catch the bus.

A shot of syrup costs 0,50€ extra, soy or almond milk 0,80€

Lastly, one thought: All Killarney apparently takes part in a no one way cups project. This is a great thing. Absolutely.
But to do it in a town where many people will have to carry the cup the whole walk (and maybe boat trip) with them to bring it back is at least debatable.

Only one choice available

Tried the vegan brekky as there was only one option available according to the staff. As written below, it was bland and the people i was eating with seemed to have nicer food that also had spices on them. Overall not a place i would recommend.

Tasteless brekky

There one vegan option was so bland and boring. They used old tomatoes, an unripe avocado, and couldn’t even sauté the spinach. Unfortunately this is the only vegan breakfast I could find in Killarney.

Pros: Good coffee

Cons: Only one option, Poor quality food, Expensive for what you get

Breakfast was gross

They have a vegan full breakfast. I hated it - the vegetables tasted canned and the avocado was just bad. My friend thought it was alright, so I added a star for that. And because there aren’t many other options in town.

Vegan Breakfast

Had the Vegan Brekky, which came with butter, still the other items on the plate were vegan. Tasted well all in all. Unfortunatelly, they ran out of hash browns (we visited in the morning) but didn't tell us. When we asked for something in exchange we got more bread and avocado with relish, very nice.

Pros: Vegan Breakfast, Nice Staff

Cons: Communicative difficulties
