My favourite veggie take away in Killarney is definitely the Tofu Green Curry from Genting Thai. Some good veggie starter options too. Reasonably priced. Would recommend.

very surprised when the waiter gave me a separate menu with a fair few options, when I asked if there was anything they could do vegan. was so happy! I had the spring rolls shared with my friend, and satay tofu and vegetables for main. very tasty, massive portion enough for 2!
Read moreI am visiting ireland with friends and I'm loving the allergen number system they seem to have as standard everywhere! this needs to come to the UK.
Under every food on the menu (everywhere in ireland) they list numbers 1 to 10 of different ingredients (eg; milk, eggs, gluten, crusteceans) so you can clearly see what's vegan friendly etc

The choices for vegans are rather limited here unfortunately, with mains being a vegetable/tofu mix in either sweet and sour or garlic soy sauce, and starters are vegetable spring rolls.
Read moreThe Thai Curry's are premixed with fish sauce that unfortunately rules them out too. The vegan dishes are ok, and the restaurant itself is nice, however if you're looking for a good meal or some nice Thai food, this could be skipped

Situated at the back of the Innisfallen Mall, is definitely worth a visit if you're in Killarney.
