Incredible - Edit
Beautiful restaurant with amazing art and such a good atmosphere. I loved this place. They have a nice menu with clearly marked vegan options. They also tell on the menu which ingredients are not vegan in the meal, so you can ask the staff to skip the ingredient.
Read moreI tried the smoothie bowl, which was beautifully presented and delicious. Even though it’s a more expensive place, I would go back.

vibes are nice food is mid - Edit
Had a breakfast and the food was veeerry mediocre :/// Most of the stuff in my breakfast was dry, oily and lacking in flavour, for the price was expecting something better so I was a bit dissatisfied. I also had a cocoa which was yummy. The vibes inside are really cool but I think it might be slightly overhyped

Beautifully presented food - Edit
All of the food is like a work of art. Really beautifully presented! But I feel like the flavours are lacking. I’ve only tried a few of the smoothie bowls here, so perhaps other dishes are better. But whilst they are really thoughtfully presented, I’ve had much tastier bowls for much cheaper. It is a lovely and relaxing atmosphere, so I might return to try other dishes.

Honey in vegan dishes - Edit
I went to this restaurant earlier this week and was excited to try their food as they had a variety of creative, vegan dishes. I noticed quite a few of dishes labelled as vegan contained honey, which was problematic as (alongside it not being vegan), I'm also allergic to it. I notified our waitress of my allergy and ordered a few vegan items with honey removed. One item (which was not even labelled as containing honey) came and after eating some of it I realised it contained honey, which the waitress confirmed but said "it's only a little bit." There were a few other issues involving poor food hygiene so this place is overall not worth it.

5/5, amazing experience - Edit
This was ab amazing venue, and to my understanding was fully veggie/vegan (shame HC won't let me give 5 stars). We had the banana leaf curry, which was a delightful experience and soooo tasty! The cocktails were amazing and we also ordered the Dimsum on the side!

Disappointing - Edit
The food was either average or not good. We tried a couple of things, most were disappointing. The vegan labelled bowl came with bee pollen. I experienced the staff as pretty rude on that day. They tried to create more seats because it was very crowded, which is fine, but the manner wasn’t. It is very expensive.
Read moreWe tried the choc bowl, croissant, dumplings, tiramisu, churros. The latter two were really not good by any means. Everything looked very beautiful though, I have to say.

Fancy place, many vegan options - Edit
Nice, fancy and green place with a lot of vegan options. Smoothie bowls were great, not too sweet. Kombucha is really tasty but for 55k you got to decide whether its worth it. I liked it very much.

Delicious and nutritious, but a little expensive - Edit
I went to Mudra last week with some friends and it was definitely the right call. Ubud was buzzing and it was hot, hot, hot! Mudra was a haven with filtered water on tap and good air conditioning, which is not always a given, and WiFi too! There were a couple of people working here on laptops, but not huge numbers. There was a great atmosphere of chatting and laughing!
Read moreI ordered a kombucha and didn't know what was coming when the waitress brought it over and said 'are you ready?' . Needless to say, I was not ready. What you should do at this point is get your camera out and put it on video mode. The kombucha was locally made and tasted so fresh and vibrant it really gave me the boost I needed. Anyway, back to the unveiling. It is served in a wine glass with a wooden coaster on top. She slowly put the glass down on the table and with slow precision she lifted the coaster from the top to release and intoxicating smoke that momentarily enveloped me. Think lapsing suchong. The smoke dissipated and I took my first sip, with the smell still lingering and mixing with the vibrant kombucha, the whole experience was captivating.
Next we shared a bowl of cauliflower tempura which was delicious, mind you, when it first comes out it is piping hot, so leave it for a minute to cool down before you burn your tongue.
Two of us went for the vegan poke bowl, and the other went for Maestro's Delight and all of us were full afterwards, these bowls were packed to the brim. The poke bowls also came with two sauces on the side if you wanted to add extra flavour, but everything (bar the rive at the bottom) was seasoned with its own flavouring anyway, so the sauces could be foregone.
I couldn't leave without getting a vegan croissant as so few places do them, and this was an absolute zinger! The pasyry was flaky, the centre contained a secret filling of white chocolate and the staff even heated it up before serving, rather than just having it cold from the counter. It really is these extra touches that make Mudra so wonderful. I will definitely be back next time I am in Ubud.
Pros: Attention to detail , Engaging staff, Out of this world food!
Cons: Slightly pricier than other places in Ubud

Amazing yet pricey food - Edit
Great place if you like smoothie bowls and great coffee. Try their Machu Pichu bowl, that’s literally the. best. one. I’ve ever had (and I had many!) The cappuccino with their homemade coconut milk is amazing, give that a try. On the other side, it’s quite a pricey place.

Disappointing, bland, oily and salty - Edit
If you dont like fruit so much then your options are limited. I tried the pokebowl with red rice. The eggplant was way to salty and oily. and most of it was rice. Waste of my money

A Must Eat - Edit
I would give this place five stars but they aren’t fully veg (which they totally should be)! Favorite matcha in Ubud - I get the sugar on the side because otherwise it can be too sweet. I love the smoothie bowls and the Avo Gado Gado bowl (wish the tempeh wasn’t so fried though). Anyway I love bringing my book and chilling here for a few hours. The staff is so friendly and it’s always hard to leave!

perfect morsels 🌸 - Edit
Eating at Mudra with others who were not vegan meant that everyone found the perfect dish to eat. Everything is freshly prepared, the food and drink is exceptional. The jamu, coffee and other juices were carefully crafted and really delicious. The wrap was one of the best I have had, the wrap itself was freshly made to order, so was soft and warm and the tofu was marinated and balanced with all the other ingredients so well. Went twice to enjoy more of the menu☺️the dirty chai was so good, all the spices were added in whole and fresh.
