Vegan sushi! - Edit

They updated their menu with a 12 piece vegan sushi dish!

Pros: Good vegan option , Good location

Cons: We were being rushed because a group was coming

They had vegetable gyozas, edamame, and mushroom rolls, so I was perfectly satisfied.

Craving Asian flavours? Go here! - Edit

This is a sushi bar so, naturally, the focus goes towards fish. But you can have a pretty decent meal here as a vegan if you’re craving Asian flavors while in Terceira island and if you order a bunch of appetizers: miso soup, edamame, gyosas with vegetables (steamed or friend) and a steamed bao bun with veggies. There are no plant-based cold sushi options BUT they do offer a hot roll which would normally include tofu, cream cheese and pineapple - I asked if they could replace the cream cheese with avocado and they did happily, and with no extra cost. The staff is polite and accommodating, so don’t be shy to ask!

Pros: Accommodating staff, Tasty food, Above average miso soup!

Cons: Not a lot of veg options
