Only one vegan option

As a vegan, I wouldn't recommend this place, unless you're prepared to eat a huge dish of chick peas (which is actually ok). If you're vegetarian, they have some cheese made on the island which I guess can be nice.
The service can be improved, but apparently this is true in all thr island, with very few exceptions (waiters not very friendly, speaking little English).

Carino

Una sola opzione vegana che consiste in un insalata verde con ceci saltati e porro. Semplice ma buona!

No vegan option

We arrived on one of the many festivals the island offers. Many restaurants alter their menus for this, so there was no vegan option available. Our waiter tried to get it from the kitchen but they said it wasn’t possible.

Pros: Our waiter was kind and at least she tried

Cons: No vegan option during festivals

Fine, Portuguese-style vegan dish

Finding vegan meals on Terceira (and probably most of the Azores) is a challenge. The cuisine mostly consists of, unsurprisingly, fish and seafood. Finding vegetarian food is difficult, but vegan even more so. That's why I'm glad that this restaurant is serving a vegan platter! It's a savoury salad with tempered chickpeas, some lettuce and croutons. The taste is good and I appreciate how the meal has a Portuguese flavour to it. You pay a fair price and the meal is definitely enough. Hopefully, more restaurants in Angra will follow suit, and start adding at least one vegan option to their menu!

Real vegan option

On my travel trough four of the nine Island of Azores i can say that it was realy the best meal i had. It was nutricially well balanced, fresh ingredints and tasted marvelously.

Service was great, serventes were very friendly and pleasent, and not expensive at all.

I trully recommend.
Only bad thing i have to say bad about i tis that there is only one option on the menu.

Pros: Nutricially well balanced, Fresh ingredients , Not expensive

Cons: Just one option on the menu

Excellent

I'm a waiter at this restaurant and I'm personally responsible for the vegan option here (being it a personal recipe of mine).
I advise every vegan to at least come and taste it.
Best regards travellers.
