questionable food - Edit
Really wonderful staff and I imagine the atmosphere is great when there's not a pandemic. We ordered in person and waited for over an hour for our food (two sides) — we were told a 15-20 minute wait when we ordered. The food itself (bbq tater tots, nachos) was very greasy and a major deterrent in us going back in the future

Have been here a few times and they have a nice selection of items. Their vegan empanadas and sandwiches are awesome. Recently had their delicious bbq pulled jack fruit sandwich. Was amazing! Def a nice spot to go to!

Vegan comfort food! I had my first loaded potato skins in years! My daughter got the loaded tots and we got donuts to go. Everything was delicious and fresh. The space is beautiful with artwork on the walls and the folks who work there are very nice. I can't wait to go back!

Buffalo wings are the best! - Edit
I’m always craving the buffalo wings from Montclair Vegan. They have donuts twice a week which are good as well. If you’re craving some junk food, Montclair Vegan is the place to go.

Ordered the Meatball Parm and it was amazing, only wish maybe the meatballs were a bit smaller so I could get more of them as they were amazing! The cheese used was a creamy style which was a nice touch.
Read moreGot a "Homer" Dougnut for desert and it was HUGE but all their doughnuts are, no way should eat in all one sitting but I could! It's that amazing!
The lady who took my order was super! Very friendly and nice and gave her recommendation on doughnut.
MUST GO BACK and EAT MORE!!

They're open 6 days a week and they open at noon and stay open until at least midnight. When you wrote this review, they were open 5 days a week and were open at least 12 hours a day. So I'm not sure where you're getting your incorrect information.

I used to eat here often until I realized that everyone shares the same kitchen. I’m not sure how that works if they also make non vegan food there (hmm). Food wise, the empanadas are pre made & saw them remove them from the freezer to fried them so I guess they’re sitting there until someone orders which makes them not so fresh. Loaded tots are a good dish and the smoothies also great. I just don’t believe it should be called a vegan spot if it shared with non vegan options.

Really enjoyed my lunch at Montclair Vegan today. Ordered the Meatball Parm (a daily special), spinach/artichoke empanada and refried bean empanada. Everything was delicious. Even my omni husband was impressed. Can't wait to go back and try some more.

I have been going to MV for a while now & i really LOVE their food! I recommend the drumsticks and bean & cheese empanadas! I also love their 'loaded' dogs, nachos and tots 😋💕 they always have specials so definitely check their IG or FB for updates~ i also appreciate them being open late, but also wish they were open a bit earlier too.
