For vegetarians, not vegans - Edit
They have a poorly named "plant based menu" where only 4 of 18 items (excluding sides) are plant based -- only one vegan entree.
Read moreThey also label dishes that they can make vegan. E.g., for BEET & STRACCIATELLA, they can take out the STRACCIATELLA ... making the dish just BEET? Who would do that?
We got the GRILLED CAULIFLOWER STEAK and the PARSNIP & BARLEY. The second one they made vegan by taking the butter out of the sauce, and sure enough the sauce was very weak.
On the other hand, the chef clearly thought about this menu -- they didn't just add pasta primavera or a beyond burger, which I appreciate. The problem was that we just didn't think much of the dishes.
The bread with olive oil and the service was also underwhelming. The place is gorgeous though.

Weehawken location fantastic! - Edit
I went to the weehawken location and absolutely loved the vegan options! While the bread is not vegan and most of the plant-based options are only vegetarian, the brussel sprout dish (modified to be vegan) was delicious! Our server was fantastic as well!! It's also near(ish) the water which has a lovely view.

It is such a nice restaurant! If you are looking for a nice date restaurant or someplace for a special occasion this is it! Their non-vegan menu is obviously more extensive but their vegan menu is delicious. Everything is super fresh and local. We had incredible heirloom tomatoes and veggies! Loved it so much

Great food, atmosphere tricky - Edit
I loved the quality of my meal. Wine was great. Very few of the meals on the plant based menu were vegan. Lots of dairy. The entire restaurant reeked of seafood. Menus and placemats are cow hide. Staff was great.

Lovely place - Edit
Delightful modern French restaurant in Montclair. Excellent service. If you ask, they will bring you a separate plant-based menu. I’m not sure I ordered the best options (broccoli rabe and lentils, artichoke stracciatella (no cheese) but I would definitely go back.

Amazing French Restaurant!! - Edit
Literally the best meal I've had in years. Everything was prepared perfectly and the service was impeccable. I wanted to try everything on the menu, and hopefully I'll be back in the area to try some more.
