Vegan selection includes several kalguksu (Korean knife cut noodle soup) with red beans, perrilla seeds, minari & mushrooms or vegetables, rice porridge with red beans, potato fritters and vegan gamjatang (spicy Korean soup). Menu changes seasonally and sometimes offers meat but is fully vegan as of July 2024. Open Mon 12:00pm-8:30pm, Wed 12:00pm-8:30pm, Fri-Sun 12:00pm-8:30pm. Last order 8.30pm.

perfect place if you’re looking for vegan food in Itaewon. it’s only a 10 min walk from the station, a little hidden away on the second floor of a building. the food is amazing and not expensive and the owner is really lovely. i strongly recommend😄

Really great place in Itaewon. The restaurant is really small in the second floor, but the vibes are excellent and the food is delicious.
Read moreThe girl running the restaurant speaks English and is super nice. She explained she only serves ssambap as a main meal, and there is a couple of soups you can take with it too. There are two types of ssambap, spicy or non spicy, and both are delicious. The vegan beef was very juicy and well cooked. We also had a stew the owner recommended, at was a bit spicy and very flavorful. Side dishes and lettuce/perilla leaves are refillable for free. There is no plain water to drink, but barley tea.
It isn’t expensive either, and since it’s a bit further from the most turisty area of Itaewon, it was easy to find a table (for lunch on a work day). Closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays tho.

Some of Korean’s soul foods are here! Affordable price, tasty, generous portion. Music there is my kind of taste so I could eat food under such a good mood. Their foods is like everyday home meal style which I really liked. Most are vegan, a few is vegetarian.

Narrow staircase to go up to the 2nd floor so not accessible for wheelchairs.

I love this place that has a warm atmosphere. And there are many vegan options. My favorite is Gamjatang sujebi, spicy kalguksu and redbean kalguksu.

Cozy, affordable and delicious! - Edit
Since their opening, I've been going to Morning Jam at least once a week and have never been disappointed. The interior is really cute and cozy, the portion size is generous and the food tastes amazing!

It's nice to see a place that is not expensive and opens early and during the time where most other locations have break times. Food was good! And it's nice to have a place with vegan Korean food in Itaewon !
