Ehh, is that it? - Edit
Loved the menu!! Got really excited for the food to arrive. The portions were tiny and very expensive. Paid almost 500 HKD a tiny cup of broth, a single bao bun, and mapo tofu with eggplant. Still hungry after

In Love with Ms Lee - Edit
Beautiful food for vegans, veggies, gluten free, etc. Lunch sets have good size starters and a large main. Well done tea and lovely environment. Can reserve or walk in. This was my second time and during a weekday lunch time. Got in right away and didn’t have to wait long for food.

Cons: Set menu, not always 3 appetizers for vegans

Beautifully presented dishes with high creativity! - Edit
Wow, where do I even begin...every dish here was exquisitely well prepared and presented. Love the modern twist to all the classic Chinese dishes! The deep fried eggplant on top of mapo tofu mixed my two favorite local dishes into one— paired with kale rice, a wholesome rendition of the classic Chinese veggie rice.
Read moreThe sweet and sour “pork” made from hedgehog mushrooms was also pure juiciness and flavour.
And then there was the liangpi with shredded shrooms...
If only it were more affordable. I would go every week.
Pros: Creative presentation, Mainly whole foods in ingredients
Cons: Expensive

Appreciate the idea but room to improve - Edit
Afternoon tea tasted quite underwhelming but really appreciate the creativity and inspiration behind a Chinese style afternoon tea, that’s vegan! Very unique. Tastes were homogenous across the dishes and often too sweet or too bland, room to improve!

Eco-friendly Chinese takeaway - Edit
Update: Dined in for the first time. Food was good. Service staff made us feel a bit unwelcomed though the restaurant was quite empty.
Read moreEnvironment: Nostalgic, chic, contemporary
Food: With the covid-19 situation, most people are opting to cook at home or getting takeaway. Their takeaway box is paper instead of the usual plastic or styrofoam in most Chinese restaurants. Food is ok and portion is suitable for female. One portion may not be enough for guys.
Service: So-so
Price: moderate-high
Pros: A modern twist of traditional Chinese culture
Cons: Small menu with limited choices

Unique Chinese inspired dishes - Edit
Visited here in a group of 4 for dinner, and another time for set lunch. They describe themselves as modern Chinese vegetarian cuisine. This is a vegetarian restaurant with plenty of vegan options.
Read moreI liked the bright and pastel colours (greens, mustard yellow, dusky pink, brown) combination which creates a lovely warm atmosphere.
For dinner, chose a few of the set menus for HKD288, and added on other dishes on top. The dishes had playful names, tasted delicious and were creative/ unique combinations. Everyone on our table was impressed. Our table really enjoyed the sweet and sour beancurd dish, rice wrapped in lotus leaf, and garden soil dish (beancurd/mushroom/seaweed). The coconut udon dessert was yummy and never tried that before! You can plan to spend HKD 200-300 per head for dinner.
Set lunch turns out more reasonable at HKD 138 - was fab!
They also recently started offering an afternoon tea set!

Great Chinese vegan/veggie - Edit
This place is great - there’s actually quite a lot of choice of vegan options. They’re mostly quite small dishes so good for sharing and trying a few different things at the time. Love the decor as well 💛💚

Decent Cantonese food - Edit
Went for the set lunch, which was filling and well presented. The yam fries were a highlight (although the portion was tiny) and I enjoyed the pipa tofu. Many of the dishes were quite oily, without a huge amount of flavour. Overall it was good but not outstanding. Would like to go back to try their extensive dinner menu.

Chinese vegetarian/vegan food with a difference - Edit
I have been to Miss Lee twice with omnivorous friends and the food was consistently excellent, though the portions were quite small. Very creative Chinese vegan and vegetarian dishes that I haven’t had elsewhere, accompanied by good juice drinks. The restaurant wasn’t noisy and the decor is retro and cheerful without being too in-your-face. It looks like they had a lot of fun with the menu, with drink names like Squeeze the day and Pineappley-ever-after!
