Two polar opposite experiences - Edit
Arrived exactly on time for our 1200 reservation
Read moreServer greeted us by saying she needed a lot of patience from us as there were only two of them serving
We sat down at a table that had not been cleared from the previous diners - dirty glasses on the table
We sat there for 20 minutes watching the servers serve drinks to many other tables - but we sat patiently enjoying the steel drum live music, waiting for our servers to come and clear the table, and at some point take our order
Two men walked in - seemed to recognize the servers - they were seated at a clean table, and their orders were taken almost immediately
Clearly our business was not needed or appreciated by the servers. We had sat patiently for 25 minutes and had never tried to get their attention, as we did what they asked - be patient
But when they served people who arrived a long time after us, and we were still sat with a dirty table and open menus…. We left and took our business elsewhere
Our other experience was for Sunday dinner. Outstanding staff and service. Beautiful outdoor dining. Clearly labeled vegan options on the menu.
Pros: Vegan options labeled
Cons: Serve foie gras

Vegans beware! - Edit
We chose this restaurant for Sunday Brunch based on the several options marked “vegan” on the menu. After ordering the Bananas Foster pancakes and confirming that they were indeed vegan, they were served covered in dairy ricotta. The chef supposedly “remade” the dish and on the second try it tasted completely of butter. Another guest at our party was served bread with her dish that was marked GF! I wouldn’t trust this restaurant if you have allergies or are strict about your diet, since they don’t seem to cook according to how the food is presented on the menu.
