Tasty and fresh

Buffet style restaurant with lots of vegan options. Food are not labelled, need to check with staff to make sure it is vegan. Clean and nice environment, fresh food and good value.

Pros: Price, Environment, Service

Cons: Vegan options are not clearly indicated

Good food, nice staff

As mentioned it’s on level B3. Would recommend the small white wraps/roll thing (not sure what it’s called), so tasty. The lady at the counter was very patient with me. Average mall atmosphere, but you can take away food.

Pros: Lots of options, Well priced, English signs

Cons: Mall setting

Yet another fantastic vegan buffet

Not easy to find but if you can get to the food mall on B3 then persevere! It’s right in the far corner

Amazing value

Wide selection of food. You pay by the weight. There are a lot of fried options as well as clean vegetable dishes and desserts. Delicious.

Pros: Lots of options

Cons: Food court is big so it's a little hard to find, at first

Big buffet

The restaurant is located in level B3 of the shopping mall. Try to find restaurant "Nara", then you'll see it. The buffet is big, mostly veggies. Hardly any fake meat, if there even was any. Cold and hot dishes. You pay per weight except for rice/noodles. Cheap.
I liked the variety of food. Unfortunately most of the dishes were already quite cold. The dishes could be more flavourful as well. But all in all a decent option for lunch/dinner.

Pros: Big variety, Cheap

Cons: Most dishes are already kinda cold

There is better options in Taipei.....

Chain buffet located ON THE LOWER LEVEL OF THE MALL (learned that the hard way having to navigate through all the floors of the shopping mall).
It was still few hours before closing time and there was barely any food available and most of it was cold...

Avoid, Taipei has way more lovey vegan spots than a chain in a shopping mall...

Good selection

Good selection of foods to choose from. Be warned they don't seem to have spoons here so you might want to choose chopstick friendly options.
Fill your plate with food then get it weighed and pay for it. Nice and easy.
Lady on the till spoke English OK.
Also do cardboard food boxes if you want to take it away.

Pros: Great choice of food.

Cons: None really.

Very large range of dishes!

There are 3-4 times as many dishes to choose from as other vegetarian buffets in Taiwan. Everything was fairly flavourful and there were lots of interesting dishes that I hadn’t seen before in other buffets. It’s about the same price as other buffets as well.

Pros: Lots of vegan options to choose from, Fairly inexpensive , Open for more hours than other buffets

Cons: Some dishes were a bit cold

Amazing for the price!!

As Americans, it can be challenging to find plant-based food options outside of the boutique restaurants likes Plants or Ooh Cha Cha. This little veggie buffet in the food court of the Q-Square mall was one of our favorite places in the city. You can get a huge filling meal with 5-grain rice for under $150 NTD (approx. $5 USD).

Tons of amazing vegetables available. They also offer many mysterious food items in the buffet as well. It's fun to try a new sample each time and get a feel for the traditional Taiwanese flavors.

They have locations all over Taipei and all of them are clean, well-managed and delicious.

If you need a quick, cheap, filling veggie meal in Taipei, this is your go-to place! Thank you, Minder! Keep up the good work :)

Pros: Incredible value, Variety of veggie options, Fast queue

Cons: Not a ton of flavor, Usually located in busy malls

Beware of oil

Like many Taiwanese buffets, all the food is coated or swimming in oil. So take care with your food choices here unless you don't mind a good helping of oil with your meal; if it glistens, it's oily.

Pros: lots of veggie choices

Cons: a bit pricy, in a very noisy food court, oily

Very tasty

Confirmed with staff that all items are vegetarian, but they do have a sign up and I believe it says no eggs are used but some items contain milk.

The staff lady sassed me a little when I asked if everything was vegetarian...she pointed to the vegetarian sign on the wall and said "vegetarian..." haha. She looked happy when I came back again a different day.

I liked all the vegetables, stir-fries and hash browns. The only thing that didn't appeal to me was a dessert that really tasted of egg or dairy, and a fake meat that was too realistic for me. But if you like realistic fake items, you'll love it. Everything was fresh and we saw them trash masses of unsold food at the end of the day. A tragedy for me to watch, but you'll be sure to get things that were made that day. Highly recommended.

Pros: fresh, big variety of food

Cons: some items too realistic for me

Lots of options

I really like the fact that this restaurant is in Qsquare. It is the closest vegan option restaurant to where I live. My host parents sometimes use the buffet to bring something home when they don't want to cook special food for me and I once went there to order noodles. I liked the food everytime and it is not expensive at all.

Nice Buffet

The food is (for a Taiwanese restaurant) neither especially cheap nor especially delicious, but the buffet is big and it even offers additional menus.

Very average

Personally I didn't like it. Everything is cold (this is weird to me, I'm English i don't know?) there was a lot of food but it was the same kinds.
I won't be going back

Pros: Close to main station , It's in a shopping mall, If friends are not veggie, you can sit together

Cons: Cold food, Greasy, Didn't feel healthy

The veggie buffet of my dreams

Minder Vegetarian was my introduction to Taiwanese vegetarian buffets and it set the bar SO high. It has 30-40 vegetarian dishes, all which look and taste super fresh. It was hard not to overload my plate but even when I did I only paid about 120 TWD. I highly recommend the spring rolls, okra, and the black sticky rice. Loved the place so much I went three times. You can eat in the food court or take it to go.

Pros: Fresh, Delicous, Mock Meat

Convenient and good selection

Great variety of dishes but find some of the dishes on the oily side. Good and decent option if you need a quick veg meal. Food is pay by weight.

Great Assortment of Vegetarian Dishes

I love this vegetarian type of buffet that you can find around Taipei. It's a great price (120 TWD) for a big plate of food. It's hard not to overfill your plate with all the options.
To find the restaurant it's in the bottom of the mall in the food court. 😊

Awesome vegetarian buffet and friendly staff! :D

I went there last year and early this year. Among numerous vegetarian restaurants in Taiwan, Minder Restaurant is one of my favorites! :) I tell you with confidence that if you like East Asian cuisine in general, you would love this place. I will sum it up for you in three phrases:

1. a variety of dishes (some are sweet, some savory, some spicy, some mysterious, some plain (?), etc) :D,
2. quite cheap (with about 100NTD, you can eat more than enough!),
3. fresh food!

Other than buffet, you can order noodles and soup as well. And they taste just awesome too! So folks, please enjoy our good, old Minder!
