Vegetarian buffet with heaps of vegan options - Edit
Minder Vegetarian is in the basement of the Q Mall near Central Station in Taipei. Heaps of vegan options. Sign says nothing contains egg and as Asian vegetarian cuisine usually doesn't contain dairy wonder if everything is vegan.
Read moreIt gets busy here at lunchtime with long lines that move fast. Makes me happy to see so many folks enjoying vegetarian cuisine.
I love that the buffet is pay by weight meaning you can take a little or a lot depending on your appetite.
Rice either brown or white is extra at a nominal charge. Comes with a simple tasty soup with boiled rash broth and stewed goji berries I believe.
Tasty and nourishing cuisine. Friendly staff. Ample seating.
I wish they could bring a similar concept to America and to San Francisco where I live.
Recommended!
Pros: Plenty of vegan options , Pay by the weight , Friendly staff
Cons: Too much choice

Plentiful Veggie Buffet - Edit
Ignore the last reviewer, I'm assuming they were having a bad day as this place is good!
Read moreLoads of tasty options, a good selection of different soy products and veggies. They also have some Taiwanese style sushi rolls which I didn't chuck on my plate as I was already loaded up!
Pay by weight, we had 2 well loaded plates and 1 small rice for around 260 TWD.
Friendly staff, located in the hip food court on B3 of QSquare. Recommend!
(Unsure if just veggie or fully vegan as I couldn't see and milk or egg dishes. Will try to ask staff and update accordingly).
Pros: Well priced , Good options , Friendly staff, nice food court
Cons: Accidently ate one dish which was very bitter 😅

Clean and healthy - Edit
It's near Taipei Main Station. It's in a food court so there are plenty of seats. It's buffet style. There's a wide variety of items, and you can choose your own combination of stir-fried vegetables, dessert, white or brown rice, and soup. I visited here three times during my stay in Taipei.

The shop has many choices of vegetarian food to choose with an inexpensive price. Good location to find because it’s located inside Q Square (Taipei main station)

Tasty, good variety - Edit
Wide variety of tasty dishes. Dishes were not labelled which made it hard to discern some between mock meat and vegetable.

Convenient and easy - Edit
This was my go to as least once a day on my trip to Taipei. On level B3 of Q Square Mall, easily accessible underground from Taipei Main Station. Just grab a plate and pair of tongs and pick what looks good from the buffet. A very full plate of food ranged from 150-190 NTD, with a side of white or germ rice for 7-8 NTD. You can dine in at the mall food court or take away. Has many tofu protein options, vegetables, fried spring rolls, and desserts such as mochi. Watch out for the stinky tofu.. you’ll smell it. Friendly cashiers speak English. Card or cash accepted.

A favourite! - Edit
Probably one of my favourite places to eat in Taipei. It's a buffet with so many different options. It can get tiresome having to figure out what is in certain foods as a veggie, so having so many options to try is such a treat. Countless different types of tofu, vegetables, mushrooms, you name it!
Read moreTook me ages to find (located on floor B3 under Taipei bus station) but it was certainly worth it. It's in a food court where lots of people share tables, which is very hectic but the food more than makes up for it.
I paid about 120NTD for a plate so very cheap

A plethora of vegan options - Edit
This is definitely one of the best buffets I went to in Taipei. The choice was HUGE. I used Google translate to ask if anything had egg or milk and one lady hurriedly said no. Just to be safe though, I didn't touch some of the desserts that looked milky, but there was no obvious egg dishes in the savory section like other buffets I've been to here.
Read moreThe price for the 2 of us was the most we've paid for a buffet here which I guess was because we picked heavier items like tofu and rolls and piled our plates. It was 360 with no rice.
The food is very tasty, not too oily, and has a large variety to choose from -- including some really interesting looking fried items, rolls, dumplings, and various tofu products. Go!

Great food close to Main Station - Edit
This was our first meal on arriving at Taipei Main Station, and it was really good. I piled two plates high and shared a large bowl of rice with my son. The total was around 250 NTD and it was worth it. Despite it being 8pm there was still plenty of choice. The spring rolls were good but he dumplings not so much. Overall, decent value for money.

Vegetarian buffet with lots of options - Edit
Lots of tofu options here including the stinky tofu that I’ve wanted to try but not commit to a whole order. Some simple veggie dishes too which I’ve been craving. Would definitely return if I wasn’t just passing through. Very good!
