Wow, wow, wow. After eating at the superb Mallow, I had the pleasure of having another mind blowing, perfectly balanced dish at the mother ship of the aforementioned center of vegan culinary excellence. These collection of restaurants are the core of why London is the number one Vegan city in the world, they are not to be missed when in London. Mildred’s is a great example of what you can achieve with a strong customer service ethic and a contemporary menu with some familiar favourites. The pricing is fair, the waiting staff are friendly and attentive. Worth a visit if you’re nearby.

First time visiting this branch. They were able to seat us without a reservation even though it was busy. Service was quick and everyone was friendly. Food was delicious. We were sharing our mains and they cut our burger into two for us which I thought was a nice touch!

Solid pancakes - Edit
We popped in for brunch to try the banana butterscotch pancakes. They were large and thick, so a smaller portion would have been fine. It’s a lovely room, but popular, so make a reservation.

It’s scrum-diddly-umptious. Quite frankly there’s nothing more to be said, but the Happy Cow rules say differently, so I just gotta smash out a few more characters to make this “legit”. Feels rather facist if you ask me - he says in jest, plz don’t kick me off Happy Cow, I just write stupid review to fill the hole in my heart left by Vivienne Westwood. It’s nothing personal. This is the second Mildred’s location I’ve dined at. The food was amazing, I tried the Nashville burger and it was truly one of the best I’ve had in a while! Our food was a bit cold and the service was okay, hence the four stars. We did visit when it was very busy which may account for that.

Can’t believe I’ve never been to a Mildred’s before. The burgers are extremely good! We ordered the Southern Fried and the Korean to share and they were both yum with the Southern Fried being the slightly nicer. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and made a massive fuss of my little dog. Anywhere dog friendly with good vegan food is a winner for me. Can’t wait to go back!

The cuisine is really creative. You can eat with someone craving for a burger, fine dining or the usual British mash & banger (revisited). A good way to please everybody. The cocktails are also quite good. The place is nicely decorated though a bit noisy. The owner is really nice. It is a bit expensive but the cuisine is well made and this is the heart of thriving London. We paid 70£ for 2 people (drinks, main course and dessert).

The menu wasn’t overly extensive but we enjoyed what we had: the kebabs were very flavorful and the chicken just right. The artichoke was creative although a little fried for my taste. Gyoza good. Have to admit the highlight for me was the white tiramisu for dessert. One of the best desserts I’ve ever had, save room!
