Dinner with friends on Long Beach - Edit
Stopped by to see friends on our way home from Santa Barbara. They made reservations for Michael’s Downtown, which I’ve never been to.
Read moreSettled on the Wood-fired vegetables as an appetizer and the Watermelon Salad for my main without the cambozola.
Such great flavors for a light dinner.

Michael’s Downtown is amazing! - Edit
This is a very nice restaurant with a great patio as well as indoor seating. The food is delicious. They have two vegan main dish options and a vegan appetizer. The entrees are a roasted vegetable pizza and a grain bowl. The pizza is incredible - one of the best vegan pizzas I’ve ever had that it doesn’t even matter it is lacking any vegan cheese or meat substitutes. The grain bowl is also excellent but I would favor the pizza. The appetizer is wood fire roasted veggies and they are also delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially when dining with non vegans.
