Good stuff - Edit
Liked this location even more than my first visit to Boulder’s! Flatiron burger had excellent, crispy shaved Brussels sprouts, and it was nice to be in a larger food market so that other folks could get different styles of food.

That’s it? - Edit
Underwhelming. My burger was barely warm, and I could have made a more flavorful burger at home. The mozzarella sticks were awesome to see on a menu, but also weren’t very warm and the marinara was straight up out of the fridge. Would consider trying again based on the rave reviews, maybe it was an off day

Some of the best service ever and good food - Edit
They were really good on gluten free here. I specifically came to this location because the guy at the other location said this is the one with the dedicated gluten free fryer. So I got the regular waffle fries and the Meta Burger. The Meta Burger's sauce wasn't amazing, but it was indeed good. Everything else was good, including the gluten free bun. The ranch dressing I used for the fries was one of the best ranch dressings I ever tasted. Maybe it was the best. I loved it. Great friendly service.

Not your typical vegan burger - Edit
I love this place because they make their own patty’s which is so uncommon these days.
Read moreThey are located inside a really cool market with other food vendors and independent shops. Staff was really nice and everything tasted delicious. Their gf buns were nice and fluffy which can also be hard to come by.
Highly recommend!

Awesome Philly Cheesesteak - Edit
We love coming to Edgewater Public Market with family & friends because there are so many options and everyone can get what they like. I had the Philly cheesesteak and it was AMAZING! All the meaty, cheesy gooeyness you miss without the animal products.

EXCELLENT - Edit
Everything is well priced and super delicious! The location is kind of odd, we had some trouble finding the restaurant. It was all worth it though we couldn’t even decide everything sounded so so good. Both the chicken sammy n the philly cheesesteak were great. THE WINGS WERE DEFINITELY THE STAR OF THE SHOW! The texture and flavor these were by far my favorite wings. Watercourse has some great wings flavor wise but the texture and appearance of these were unreal.

Vegan burgers and fries- oh my! - Edit
The Edgewater location is in a cool marketplace. My family of 5 all enjoyed our burgers. We all ended up having their house made soy burgers. Very reminiscent of fast food grilled burgers but not too meat like- we don’t like that. The fries were great. My husband says skip the chili cheese part- the fries are so good you don’t need it. We ran out of room but really wanted to try the shakes/blizzards they looked great. Maybe next time.

American Fare but make it plant based. - Edit
First off the location I went to is inside the Edgewater Market - directly across from a brewery, the Zero Market (my favorite refill station) AND garage sale, a dope thrift/vintage store. So it wins major points for location proximity to some of my favorite Denver places.
Read moreAnd now to the FOOD. I had been craving a more indulgent vegan dish so this hit the spot. A delicious planted based burger with shaved Brussels sprouts (another fav), a steak sauce, arugula and melted cheese. Damn it was good.
Anyone looking for a great take on burgers should def check them out (as well as the rest of the stores in this cute mini market/food hall)

Awesome food, disappointing shakes - Edit
Loved the chicken sandwich I had, and the chili cheese fries are amazing! The variety on the burger menu also make me excited to go back. I was super looking forward to the shakes because I had not found a place with vegan shakes yet, but was very disappointed with the chocolate shake. It tasted pretty artificial, I don't think it was the oatmilk, I imagine it was the chocolate they used. The strawberry one is much better, but still has a strange artificial tint to it.

Classic Burger and Wings - Edit
Meta is located in the edge water public market and a great place for a vegan burger and fries. We have been twice and are a fan of the waffle fries and classic burger.
Read moreThe first time we got the godfather burger, fries and some buffalo wings. The burger was definitely a gourmet style burger and tasted just like meat (if that's your jive). The chicken wings were some of the best in town, especially paired with a side of vegan ranch.
The second trip we got the draft kombucha, chili fries and a classic American burger. The classic burger was very tasty. The chili cheese fries were definitely not the healthy option. While the fries were great, they were not our favorite. A little over hyped.
All in all, definitely will go again, especially for a classic burger, fries and some wings.
Pros: Quick turnaround, Lots of options

I have no complaints. If I hadn’t known I was going to a vegan restaurant, I would have thought I was eating a meat burger. Super simple concepts and I am absolutely in love. Any non-meat eater would love this just as much as me

So happy to find a vegan spot that just makes great, mainstream food! I can’t speak for all vegans but I personally prefer regular food like everyone else eats but without death and cruelty. Meta Burger has got that down for sure! Comfort food with reasonable prices and fast service!

Passing through Denver My BF and I stopped here. We got the omega, hangover chicken, and The Godfather as well as a chocolate milkshake. Everything was amazing and my bf who is Omni said “this is the best vegan sandwich I have ever had. I honestly want to try their whole menu!” I agree! You MUST stop here if you are in the area.

Rating is 6/10 for fast food - Edit
The website said takeout only, order online due to covid. It was my first time there so I believed them. It was supposed to be picked up at a certain time but they finished making it early, so when I arrived 10 min later my food was cold. And I also found out that dine in was available. I could've just showed up to pay and eat there so that my food could be fresh. Lower rating due to there being much better fast food choices available than this place.
Read morePros: Fries were really crispy, Crispy chicken was tasty
Cons: gluten-free bun was really dry, too much of it , Very pricey for a burger and fries $16.00, Tables for dine-in dirty. Employees didn't care.
MatthewCoates
Both our website and google accurately show what services we are offering, so I am unsure how you got incorrect information.
Read moreWe are sorry that your food was cold, we start making our orders 10 minutes before the pickup time, so the maximum time the food could sit there before your pickup time is about 2 minutes (our ticket times are 7-8 minutes).
The price of our most expensive burger and a side of fries is $13 even, including tax, so I am not sure where you are getting your information for the $16. My guess is that you chose some additional options and/or tip, which are all optional.
We will follow up with our staff to make sure they are paying more attention to the table cleanliness, we understand how frustrating that can be!
Thank you for the review, we appreciate the honest feedback!

The best vegan fast food in Colorado - Edit
Seriously. Just got back from a road trip of 25 states and have to say we are spoiled to have this in the Denver area. Seriously the chicken sandwiches are great. The meta patties are seriously bomb, we love the American and the western burgers. Can’t go wrong with build your own burger. The bacon is just the right flavor and thickness. Would go out of way to have if We didn’t live so close to one.

I really struggled over what to order, but decided on the island burger. Perfect choice. I love a good savory/sweet combo and this was just delicious. Sweet potato fries weren’t anything special (I prefer thicker fries) but they got the job done.
