Rocky, Dave and crew don’t play

Excellent vegetable based food. No faux meat centered menu trying to appeal to the masses. Just good cooking from a talented bunch. 11/10

Never disappoints.. 5 Stars

Consistently delicious. Tonight we enjoyed the classic Reuben, charred Caesar salad (amazing), and a grilled bread with the freshest toppings. This is some of the best vegan food in Denver.

Pros: Fresh and delicious , Great presentation , Nice people.

Cons: Zero cons

How so good???

The menu online looked good so we decided to come out here without knowing the area at all. We didn’t realize it was in a food court and were a little worried we had made a mistake. But we ordered the summer spinach salad, tofu piccata and nduja toast, and it was all so good. The toast was one of the more creative veggie toasts I’ve had—lupini beans, fennel and romesco, so yum. I highly recommend. Think we might want to try the Reuben next time.

Best of Denver

Everything I’ve had at Gladys is exciting, creative, plant-focused, and downright delicious. Way more ambitious than the most spots in Denver. Menu changes seasonally, always look forward to new things from Gladys. Cool crew.

Fine dining in a food court

Artful presentation with unique flavors make for fine dining flavors in a food court. Yes, it is vegan, but also some of the best food I have had from a restaurant.

Pros: Flavor, Vegetables! , Creative combinations

Cons: They don’t have breakfast!

Loved it!

I was very pleasantly surprised eating here! The quality is way beyond typical food court/hall food. The flavors were spectacular. My only slight “complaint” is that the wooden fork/knife was no match for the toast I ordered so it ended up being a messy eat. I will 100% be back.

Good stuff

We got the stir fried rice and a salad. Both were a little oily, but pretty tasty!

Original food in a great atmosphere

Our food was tasty, but a bit oily for us. However the food is original. We were traveling through Denver and would consider eating here again.

We tried the Reuben and the buffalo artichokes. Both are very original and had a lot of flavor -and oil.

We also tried a salted chocolate chip cookie. Thumbs up!

GLAD is an understatement

Hello?! A ROOT VEGETABLE REUBEN? It was sooo good I don’t know how they did it and don’t care! And the artichoke buffalo wings were incredible as well! Why can’t more places like this exist, WHYYYYYY?!

Pros: Root Vegetable Reuben , Artichoke Buffalo Wings

Amazing vegan food

This vegan spot, located in a neighborhood food market in Denver, served some of the tastiest food I have eaten in Colorado and beyond. Highly recommend for both vegan and non-vegan foodies.

A must-try for fancy food

I’ve had some of my best Italian pasta & gnocchi dishes here, and they’re filled with high quality ingredients. The rest of the menu is very vegetable forward and creative. I really enjoy their balance between healthy and indulgence. This is actually fine dining served fast and casual

Pros: High Quality Ingredients , Italian, Value

They know me by name…

That’s how often I eat here and how great their customer service is. Their food is amazing, I have never eaten something I didn’t enjoy.

Remember to order 2 Ruben sandwiches. One for you and one for your most skeptical friend.

Pros: Creative Plant based Ingredients/dishes, Good quality foods, Customer service

Cons: I have to drive about an hour from my home, Not open for breakfast, I will have to direct deposit my paycheck to them

Best in CO

Wow! Everything here is just excellent. The gnocchi and the Reuben are both the best of each I’ve ever had.

I’ve brought (open-minded) non-vegans here and they loved it. I’d recommend this to anyone in Denver.

Delicious!

My husband and I both had the Reuben and loved it. Generous size, so no sides needed. I also had a mushroom cola. It tasted like good sparkling water. The workers were all very friendly.

Yum

My favorite part about Gladys is they aren’t doing ANYTHING the other vegans spots are doing. Their food is great- packed with flavor, and an amazing balance of seasoning. This is such a hidden gem, I love it so much.

Nobody Puts Gladys in a Corner

Gladys can be found tucked in the northwest corner of the lively Edgewater Market, an unassuming epicenter for assorted vegan eats.

On my first visit I ordered the most scrumptious iteration of any reuben I’ve had to date. Spawned from the celery root of all things, it stands heads and shoulders above a crowd of tempeh, tofu, and portobello varieties.

The second visit, the gnocchi, my god. While I tend to gravitate toward dumplings, including those of Italian origin, these particular potato-stuffed pillows were paired with a bolognese red and a cooling dollop of herbaceous cream. A perfect balance? You gnow it!

The above choices will likely change. No problem. That the menu seems to rotate to ongoing acclaim just illustrates the talent and dexterity of this kitchen.

Gladys doesn’t need to be front and center. I’m convinced that these delicious, innovative, gourmet plates could be served forth from any front - from food truck to back alleyway to under the gd staircase at #4 Privet Drive - and still retain its magic.

I cannot wait to see what you do from here, Gladys. As for the rest of you beautiful people, get some Gladys while the Gladys is hot. Don’t miss it.
