Fun downtown vibe - Edit
We met up with family at this bar and restaurant which we’d chosen because of the plant-based section on the menu. I had the fake-a$$ chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Fun atmosphere, plenty for non-vegans and choices for me.

They have 4 plant based items to choose from. I recommend getting one of each of the 3 vegan tacos! They are small sized, but the flavors really make it a fun dish!

Found Merle’s thanks to Happy Cow and I’m so happy we chose to eat here! They have a plant based menu that includes a few different tacos and a Fake A$$ Chicken sandwich. I tried the Wild Mushroom and Barbacoa Tacos and they were amazing! Could be the bourbon talking, but they were amazing! The chips and salsa were amazing too!

It was refreshing to find a restaurant that offered several vegan options. The service was wonderful, and our server anticipated our needs (once mentioning we were plant based). I had the Fake A$$ Chicken Sandwich. Delicious!

I don’t eat the laboratory produces synthetic meats, so this place and their vegetable tacos is great!
Read moreService is super friendly, yeah it’s a bar in a touristy area, geared toward getting you drinking, but genuinely friendly too.
And the tacos are great

Bar/restaurant setting. Casual. I wasn't able to talk with someone on the phone as I wanted to verify if the aioli, coleslaw and cheese offered with the plant based list of options were in fact animal free. So I left them out when I ordered online for pick up. The gentleman at the front didn't know if the cheese was plant based either. The tacos I would say was the best. Offered a wild mushroom taco and a barbacoa taco. 4 plant based items on the menu.

Hidden Gem - Edit
My spouse is not a vegan or vegetarian so it is always interesting to find options for me and for him. This place is meant for carnivores but plant based menu options are small though mighty. Best tacos of wild mushrooms, Barbacoa jackfruit, and fried avocado. Ordered two rounds! Worth visiting this hidden plant based option gem!
