Delicious Food and Delightful Staff - Edit
Masala is undoubtedly one of the best vegetarian Restaurants that I know. The food is absolutely delicious. They have a great selection of plates and all of them (that I've tried so far) are awesome.

Nice and friendly, uninspired food - Edit
We went for dinner here as we were longing for indian food. It's great to have a all veg Indian restaurant in this easy to reach location. The ambience was lovely and the waiter where very friendly and helpful in English.
Read moreThe food was uninspiring however. No decoration, salty but not well spced. The vegi dish was better than the no-chicken one. It might be just not our taste, but for us it's not worth the price tag.

Great range but no "meat" - Edit
While this restaurant offers no a lot of marked vegan a la carte dishes, they are all vegetable based and don't contain meat replacements. The buffet has no vegan markings so you'll have to ask. Not a huge drawback, though. The location is decent and very centrally located but doesn't offer any outdoor seating.

Great service, low quality food - Edit
I was here already twice with friends and tried different things from the menu and the buffet. Unfortunately both times we were quite disappointed. Even though most of the food is vegan, we found the quality underwhelming - watery, dry rice, not enough spices or too spicy. There are better Indian restaurants in Zurich. Very sad, since the place looks nice and the stuff is friendly.

Delightful North Indian cuisine - Edit
We love the food, ambience and service at Masala, Zurich’s first Indian vegetarian restaurant. They have clearly labeled vegan options too. Always a pleasure to dine here!

It’s a good restaurant with Indian cuisine. We went there for dinner and we were both happy with the food and service. Additional bonus point is that they are stopping serving meat and going vegetarian as of Jan’22. #Veganuary
