The best non vegan restaurant with vegan options I’ve ever been too!

I went to this restaurant after going to my climbing gym not to far away and my experience was amazing the staff were very vegan friendly and knowledgeable which made it very easy to eat here but the food is AMAZING!

Pros: Abundance of delicious vegan options , Vegan conscious staff , Best vegan comfort food I’ve had

Cons: Non vegan options

Amazing food

My friend and I both had the Mission Impossible burger with sweet potato fries, and we were amazed.

It was simply one of the best burgers we’d ever had, vegan or otherwise. Would give 5 stars if I could!

Pros: Great veggie / vegan menu with clear labels, Good service

Mary is awesome

Mary is such an amazing hostess and she seems to be adding new vegan options every week! Although I have not tried them, I am excited to go back to get one of her vegan crunnch wraps and some of her other exciting foods. Would love if she would convert to full vegan as her shipment of impossible burgers seems to be such a huge hit. Will be back here many times.

Great Vegan Sunday Brunch

The Vegan Sunday Brunch and was awesome.
All other times it is not 100% vegan but it has lots of vegan options. I had the vegan oyster mushroom Po-boy and it was delicious.

Unlike other places that have the impossible burger, they also have vegan cheese and mayo!!

Best vegan spot in New Bedford by far!

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Randomly has 100% vegan brunch , Excellent service

Cons: Not always vegan

4 thumbs up

My wife and I traveled about 45 minutes to get here twice last week. The first time we were blown away by the delicious homemade "chicken" and Mary's creative adaptations of the impossible burger. We returned that Sunday for the first ever vegan brunch hosted at the restaurant. Unfortunately we arrived too late to get any scramble but we were able to try many other delicious items including Mary's incredible homemade "crab" cakes. We will return as the drive is 100% worth it.

Pros: Very progressive towards plant based options.

Cons: Dtaff not completely on board with terminology.

Lots of vegan options!

Tried this place today based on a lot of positive reviews on various vegan Facebook pages. It is a small narrow space with a lovely granite counter/bar that probably seats 10, plus a handful of tables as well. Very casual - food is served in paper lined plastic baskets. Seems to be primarily meat-based, but has a more extensive vegan and vegetarian menu then many vegetarian restaurants offer. The vegan options mainly are variations on the impossible burger, such as burgers and tacos, and various fried “chicken” options. There also were vegan crabcakes listed on the menu, but they were out. I ordered a fried “chicken” sandwich with something called onion petals on it, which were like a battered and fried onion disc, along with sautéed mushrooms and chao “cheese”. It was delicious - Actually not much like a chicken other than the fried style; it had a very good taste and texture.

Pros: Many vegan selections!

Great vegan comfort food!

What a surprise find and a great lunch we had! Mary is wonderful and so very friendly and helpful. The menu is creative and it's very easy to take are carnivore friends here. Nothing fancy, just good old-fashioned comfort food that's delicious and wonderful. Can't wait to return many times for yummy food.

Pros: Inexpensive and creative.

Cons: This is a meat first place, but making plant-based, Food a big part of what they do.
