Excellent food - Edit
Really nice food, lovely staff. Had a couple of things I hadn't seen on menus before. Particularly liked the tarka dal and the sweet and sour vegetables.
Read morePotions are huge - four of us had 2 starters, 3 mains, 2 sides, 2 breads and a rice and had to take some away in a doggie bag.
It was very busy (Saturday night) so I'd recommend booking.
NB we're veggie not vegan so I can't comment on suitability for vegans.
BTW it says above they accept credit cards but we were told cash only.

Lovely restaurant on the marina side of Maryport. Staff have been super friendly everytime I've been. Vegetarian section on the menu. Vegan options aren't specifically marked however the staff were very happy to help explain what was vegan/what could be made vegan. Butter listed in some dishes but I was told that most dishes are made with vegetable oil instead.

Probably the best thing about Maryport - Edit
Friendly, clean and welcoming curry house (the staff fall over themselves to greet you!). The menu doesn't really ever change but there are numerous vegetarian options, most of which are vegan. (Even the dishes marked "fried in butter" can usually be fried in vegetable oil.) The naan breads contain dairy but the paratha and roti are vegan. Good place to fill up for little money.
