Hidden gem

We had dinner here when staying in a nearby cottage for the weekend, and I was pleasantly surprised by the vegan choices! I had butternut squash soup (which was on their regular menu but they let me know it was vegan), and savoury pancakes which were great! Better than dinners I've had in vegan restaurants.

They were very knowledgeable, and without prompting reassured me the butter and cream with the soup were vegan too! Usually in non vegan places I'd be wondering if they had made a mistake before tasting it.

It's a family run restaurant and you can tell they took pride in catering for everyone.

Pros: Good menu, Great atmosphere, Friendly staff
