Vegan, yes. Fantastic pub food, not so much.

Relaxed, friendly pub vibe. Plenty of vegan options (see menu photos). We were delighted to find such vegan riches in something of a potential vegan desert. They are really trying to provide a good range of vegan options. We ordered the bao, which were yummy (though drizzled with mayo which made them impossible to eat without getting it all over your hands - an odd choice). I had the Mac and cheese, which was generous and saucy and with a lot of vegan cheese, but I didn’t like the vegan cheese flavour and didn’t eat much- though it came with delicious crispy fries and tasty salad. My friend ordered the broccoli and cauliflower wrap which was a bit bland, but otherwise okay. So we were somewhat disappointed - a shared entree and two mains plus a beer and a gin & tonic set us back £100. I wouldn’t go again unless I couldn’t find any alternative vegan food in town.

Pros: Heaps of vegan options, Crispy, excellent fries & salad, Bao were delicious

Cons: Expensive for basic pub food, Mains were heavy on vegan cheese, but a bit bland

Great for mac

Loved the macaroni, but canny comment on the rest of the menu. Creamy with plenty of cheese.

Wouldn’t go back

Got the bao buns & ‘tacos’ - bao buns okay, tacos pretty much inedible & totally flavourless. might have come on a bad day because they seem to be popular but definitely won’t be back

Vegan toffee 🥰

There were plenty of vegan options which were clearly marked on the menu. My friend and I shared the cauliflower wings as starter, I had the vegan Burger and my friend the vegan Bao buns. Although my friend is not the biggest fan of tofu, she really enjoyed the buns! All three dishes came with plenty of vegan mayo. My highlight was the vegan toffee! It was full of flavor and they let me choose between cream, vanilla ice cream or a vanilla sauce (all vegan). There were more vegan options on the menu (for some see the pictures of the menu, but not all are included). I did not expect to have such a dinner in Oban and was really happy!

Pros: Many vegan options, Many vegan dessert options , Nice place to sit

Quick service, good atmosphere, good food

We got our food within 15 minutes of walking in. There's plenty of vegan options for a small town restaurant. We had cauliflower wings, tofu bao buns and brocolli taco's. Other options include vegan mac and cheese, a vegan burger and a brocolli and cauliflower wrap. Staff was friendly and the place had a good vibe.

Pros: Good food, Quick service, Friendly atmosphere
