Delicious with options - Edit
Lots of vegan options clearly labelled on the menu and staff able to check for other items. Had the bread with vegan butter, onion rings, and the vegan burger. They also had a vegan rigatoni dish, and a few starters and sides that were vegan friendly (bbq corn ribs and hummus/falafel). Impressively had two vegan desserts - biscoff cheesecake, and a vegan waffle with vanilla ice cream. Loved it and would highly recommend for a warm, pub environment, with tasty vegan food!

Excellent pasta dish - Edit
We had an excellent baked mushroom and spinach pasta dish with Daiya cheeze. Also have a vegan burger and 2 vegan desserts. They were out of the vegan ice cream and vegan cream but offered to put a raspberry compote in their vegan cheese cake. Great view of the Bay as well.

As a vegan family we've been well fed here.

We've forgot an envelope that was still missing a poststamp and manager reassured us that Cuan Mor will send it.
I try five stars guys but as a full vegan this app wouldn't allow it. Sorry for that and once again Thnx a bunch.

Wasn’t very good; order the katsu curry if you come here - Edit
There aren’t a lot of options in Oban, so we were happy to find a place with so many labelled vegan options on the menu. Unfortunately they were a little sad. The “corn ribs” appetizer was one of the weirdest dishes we’ve ever ordered and barely edible. Like a mere quarter of a cob of corn sliced with all of the inedible bits remaining attached and almost none of it edible, on a plate of sad lettuce with butter on it (?) and a massive tub of tartar sauce. Mains were better: a katsu curry with mock chicken that was actually pretty good but came with a terrible coleslaw, and a very sad chicken wrap with undercooked fries. The latter was like airport food. Service is was also pretty poor. For what it’s worth, the non-vegans at the table loved their non-vegan dishes, but I wouldn’t have come here if I wasn’t with them.

A variety of vegan options including dessert - Edit
This was a busy, but pleasant meal. I had the ultimate vegan burger which was very nice and my mum and brother had a vegan 'chick**n' burger which they also enjoyed. We didn't have any dessert, but there was a vegan cheesecake and waffle available which sounded very nice!

Possible cross contamination - Edit
This is a well presented, busy gastro-pub with great position in Oban.
Read moreOban itself is very short on vegan options, so with this place being well rated, we went for an early dinner.
Choices are limited but we were able to order different vegan mains.
I had the tart, which was just fine. The pastry was unevenly cooked but aside from that, the filling was tasty. The broccoli and sweet potato fries were fine.
My partner ordered the curry. He was initially pleased, with plenty of veg through it. He felt it lacked flavour but had some heat from spice and said it was ok.
Neither meal was large but we had thought we'd order a dessert.
It was a busy night so we had a wait for our plates to be cleared. About half an hour after we'd eaten, my partner said he felt a bit off and went to the bathroom. He was gone for a while and on returning, said the meal had gone straight through him. Both of us have issues with dairy - as many long term vegans do - and he felt this was a case of the body rejecting something it can't digest and ejecting it. We suspect there was some cross contamination, which is always a risk in non vegan eateries, along with people not understanding the difference between vegan and vegetarian.
It remained very busy and as my partner felt unwell, we paid and left.
If visiting Oban you may well end up here due to the lack of choice, but it's best avoided at busy times.
Pros: Labelled vegan options
Cons: Double check order is vegan, avoid at busy times

Amazing pie - Edit
I tried the vegan pie here which was really tasty. The restaurant is quite meat centered so I was surprised that the vegan dish was really good. It seems like they upgraded to more vegan dishes compared to their last menu. Recommended when you are in Oban!
