For The Hague affordable, and the falafel is really is tasty here. I like the hummus plate too as it gives you bread on the side and a lot more veggies to eat.
Read moreIf you want whole wheat pita indicate it in the beginning. Service by the man is really welcoming and friendly, I seems to me that the ladies are less interested in giving a good customer experience.

Nice place, all vegan and good taste, but the portion of the dish is very small and worse than that, the stuff was awful! We got a humus plate with falafel and a big fries for a good amount of money and stayed hungry after the meal. More over, we took a sit in the "fresh air" outside and it smelled like urine!

I really like the option to add some vegetables and sauces to pita bread so no need to worry about getting something you don't eat. I tried pita bread with grilled zucchini it was delicious but low in protein. Falafel one is better in this way.

Best food/price ratio in the Netherlands - Edit
I've been to Maoz for over 10 years in different cities and am pleased we have had one in the Hague for a few years now as well. Consistently good falafel, enough different salads and sauces to never (really) get bored and that for a very good price. These fries might be one of the best in the Hague as well.

I couldn't resist the temptation of going in when I saw it on the way, so I tried the falafel bowl. I liked that I could pick the veg myself, and I was served rather quickly.

Not a lot of options, but the options they do have are awesome! We had a falafel pita and a mushroom shoarma pita. They have a self serve salad bar so you can add as many toppings as you'd like, I went heavy on the garlic sauce 😍😍

I wanted to get something quick and easy before I went to see Nederlands Dans Theater and this was nearby. I got the hummus plate with felafel and a side of chips. I chose to sit in. The plate comes with 4 felafels and my experience was that they were ok, but not amazing. Then you can help yourself to the salad bar. I had ketchup with the fries and I thought the fries were really good.

So you always eat the salad first and the falafel is at the bottom of the pita.
But all in all its a good place to go for a tasty snack.
