Solid Curry Spot In Krabi - Edit
This place seems busy often and after eating there we understood why. We got two curries and both were amazing. It was also not tourist pricing, I think our curries were $3. You need to communicate veganism but this is probably the best spot for Thai in Ao Nang that we found.

Vegan curry request - Edit
We went eat to Mama Kitchen, which is family owned restaurant. I had Vegan passport with me and I show thai page to the waiter man, and he took it to also read for lady in kitchen. The friendly lady came to us and she talk better english. She explained that eggplant dish couldnt not make vegan because the paste they use in many dishes but can make red curry for me, I ordered without tofu and add vegetables (I dont eat soy) with rice. I took little spicy the dish and if you're not familiar with thais spicy, recommending start mild.

The flavours of the curry’s were absolutely amazing, the best we’ve had in Thailand so far! Definitely recommend! Lots of choice on the vegetarian menu that can be made vegan.

Very good food. Just be sure to mention that you want it vegan else they might add egg. Also I'm not sure why they list oyster sauce in the Vegetarian section but I'll check when I'm there again.

no vegan Tofu - Edit
Mamas Kitchen ist sehr nett und hat eine große Auswahl an Gerichten, die auch abwandelbar sind. Ich bestellte die clear soup mit Bean cure und Tofu statt mit Fleisch und bat um vegane Zubereitung. Der andere Kellner kam zurück und fragte nochmal nach ob ich vegan sei und meinte er hat nur eggtofu und ob das ok wäre. Ich verneinte da ja Ei drinnen ist. Er kam nicht nochmal, mit wurde dann eine Suppe mit Gemüse sonst nix serviert. Geschmack war gut aber nicht was ich erwartet hatte. Immerhin haben sie beim Preis etwas nachgelassen und nicht normal verrechnet. Befürchte sie haben NUR EGGTOFU. Sehr schade.

Best vegan food I’ve had in Thailand! The staff are really friendly (even went to buy some morning glory as they had ran out!) and the tofu was delicious. Everything tastes so fresh. Highlights for us were the garlic fried rice and the stir fried tofu and ginger!

Massaman curry was amazing - Edit
I had the vegan massaman curry and it was unreal, best curry I’ve had in Thailand so far 😍 also great to get a vegan version as they’re usually not offered. They had a whole 2-3 pages of vegetarian options (easily made vegan) and reasonable prices. Highly recommend!
