The decor is 19th century manor house but the furniture and art takes you back to the 1970's, but in a modern way. If it's warm, you can eat on the terrace overlooking the 55 acres of the estate including the lake. Vegan breakfast items include daily freshly made-in-house almond milk for coffees and cereals, made-in-house granola, avocado on toast with chili and lime, among others. The chef is adept at making vegan food, including, with advance requests, a whole vegan menu which has been known to include vegan croquettes with lime salsa, grilled asparagus, spaghetti with green peas and tarragon and grilled eggplant with Indian vegetables. Vegan desserts, such as poached pears and fruit sorbets can also be ordered.
