Amazing Little Gem - Edit
This place was awesome. Legitimately the best vegan BBQ sandwich I have ever had, and I’ve tried a lot of them. The menu is top notch all around. Service and care is outstanding as well. Will be back anytime I visit.

Love that Gulfport has a vegan place! Food was good, but I feel like it could be better somehow. It was just kinda meh. The mac and cheese was a bit too salty, but very flavorful though! The burrito could’ve had a bit more going on in it, and same with the taco salad. I really liked the slaw in the BBQ burger and the potato salad though!

Best damn burrito I’ve ever had I wish there was one in my town St. Louis Missouri. We spend lots of time in the winter down in Gulfport and all I can think about when I’m not down there is getting to the magic vegan for a wonderful burrito. I just learned that they will ship so I will be getting they’re amazing food delivered now 💖

My husband and I are traveling the country and our goal is to find the best vegan restaurants in every town we visit. When we found The Magic Vegan, the limited menu and google photos did not draw us in, but when we read the reviews we decided to give it a try. I ordered the burrito. It tasted amazing. The "meat" tasted exactly like fajita steak. My husband ordered the bbq sandwich and he told me with every bite he took, that it was the best bbq sandwich he's ever had (even pre-vegan). He ordered the potato salad as a side and we loved it so much we actually knocked on the window (they had closed) and begged the owner to let us purchase a container of it. It was so good! We also ordered the chocolate pie dessert - AMAZING! The owner was fantastic and had great customer service. It's evident he loves what he does. We highly recommend.

Magic Vegan to the rescue - Edit
We are a vegan family and vegan restaurant owners from Saint Louis (Bombay Food Junkies) who landed in Biloxi to spend a weekend away from the craziness. We were looking for a place to bake us a vegan cake. Magic Vegan owner was a pleasure to work with, very helpful and accomodating. Made us a vegan cake with literally no notice. Thank you Magic Vegan, the kids loved the cake. (Magic Vegan : Keep up the good work and Please come visit us in Saint Louis if you ever come that way)

We love coming here for some barbecue and potato salad! The food is made from scratch, the owner takes pride in how he created the barbecue -- and it is delicious. The sandwich is topped with coleslaw and is the perfect little meal. The "fajita burrita" is another win- so flavorful and beautifully presented. If you're getting desert, the chocolate mousse pie, get your own because you'll fight over who gets the last bite. The owner's young son is a charmer at the register and you will be wowed over his personality. They also have eco-friendly wooden utensils! And you'd be wise to head over to their cooler and pick out some sides and barbecue to take home to recreate the deliciousness you experienced. LOVE THIS PLACE!!

The barbecue sandwich is awesome, and I'm not a fan of coleslaw usually. The potato salad is very close to my late grandmother's. I thoroughly enjoyed the Fajita Burrita and the chocolate dessert was phenomenal. Make sure that order 2 desserts, one is a tease. You can order online and the food typically take less than 10 minutes to prepare. I'm grateful that I found this place, it's a little nugget of goodness especially when I come to Gulfport and visit my family. I've been here for three weeks and I definitely plan on going back again for a 4th time.

I had the burrito and my wife had the bbq sandwich. The owner shared with us that his meat is his own concoction of wheat and magic. Well, it tastes just like meat and has the same consistency. Amazing. We will be back and btw, I purchased some take home bbq too!

So I had two places on my list I had to check out while I was here. And the first place I went to told me it was a must that I came here. I am glad I listened because the BBQ sandwich was everything I hoped it would be and more. I understand why the owner said he's had so many lol. It's really good. I should have bought a pound of that delicious seitan. Can't wait for the new developments because I will be buying!!

Has a small selection of six or so main entrees. The owner was very friendly and described all of the entrees to me and pointed out customer favorites. Both entrees, the bbq sand which and chickpea wrap, were phenomenal.

A must-try if you'll be anywhere near the area! I don't usually like imitation meats, but the BBQ sandwich and the taco meat were unbelievably good! And the nacho cheese sauce was one of the best I've ever had. The menu is small, only like 5-6 items, but the quality more than makes up for it! The owner is a cool guy who's trying to scale up so he can do bulk/wholesale to grocers and restaurants.

My husband and I met 2 of our friends and their teenage daughter here. It was a first time visit for all of us. We all ordered something different and everyone was delighted! Our friends aren’t plant based but said the fajita burrita they had was better than any taco or burrito they’d had anywhere. Can not stress enough how good everything is here! We will not visit Gulfport without eating here!

The Magic Vegan Cafe is AMAZING! Not only is the food fabulous; the people and atmosphere are wonderful as well! The BBQ sandwich and potato salad are my favorite so far. I have a hard time straying from them to try anything different. Although, I did steal a bite of my husband’s Fajita Burrita and it was delicious. He said, “If you didn’t tell me, I would never know it was vegan.” That coming from a dedicated meat eater shows you this food is great for everyone!💚

Limited but fantastic menu - Edit
Delicious BBQ “steak” sandwich with tangy slaw and spicy potato salad, and a ginger “cream cheese” cupcake. Only two main menu items (all vegan), but the owner said he hopes to expand the menu soon. I will definitely be back.

Two Menu Items: Both Fantastic - Edit
I come to this area about once a year to visit my parents and there aren’t many vegan options around. (As you can see from looking on Happy Cow.) I was really exited to find this place had opened and had to try it out immediately. I ate there with my wife (vegan) and dad and stepmother who aren’t vegan. We all tried both menu items, and we all loved every bite. The meats (BBQ and Mexican fajita) are both fantastic and we even bought some to take home. The potato salad was great too. We even tried three kinds of cupcakes and enjoyed them all too! The owner was super friendly and welcoming and the place had a very relaxed vibe. Definitely worth checking out if you are anywhere in the area. At just $8 per plate, it’s super affordable too, so just get one of each!

A hidden treasure in Gulfport!!! The BBQ sandwich is the best thing I've ever tasted! My meat-eating sister got the "fajita burrito" (and took a bite of my bbq) and was blown away by the flavor! We may have a covert on our hands because of Magic Vegan Cafe! The owner served is and was very friendly and gave us a little history of the Cafe. Will when next in Gulfport. JUST GO.
