Awesome Food & Staff

My partner and I dropped by Loco Ono for our final meal together since it was an easy grab-and-go poke and their pricing was fair.

For $13, I was able to get a delicious tofu plant-based poke bowl with so many fixings. They offer all the usual toppings from edamame to seaweed salad, and all different kinds of sauces to amp up your bowl. I appreciated being able to select brown rice and mixed greens as my base for no additional charge.

The regular size bowl was a large portion and was perfect for 1.5 meals, but of course I ended up eating it all at once.

Our server was also super friendly and helpful. The moment I told her that everything would need to be vegan, she made sure to read out which sauces were vegan friendly without me asking, and even loaded up my bowl with so many veg toppings that it was bursting.

The ambiance is fairly basic so I would consider this more for grab-and-go especially at night, but the price and quality of the poke is great and I would recommend to anyone.

Big servings, tasty food

Make your own bowls with tofu option and lots of options for toppings and sauces. The portion sizes are pretty good and I always feel satisfied after. Quick service food that's not just a burrito (or burrito bowl) or veggie sandwich is nice.

Pros: Portion size, Variety of toppings

Decent Choices

I liked that even though there was only really tofu as my choice of protein, I had many choices on how to eat it. I could choose from salad, to traditional poke bowl to a mix of both. I also liked that there was a lot of topping choices for the bowl that were free of charge (except avocado...it's always avocado). It did get a bit pricey though but it was filling and the large size gave me two servings!

Pros: Lots of toppings, Can easily be made GF

Cons: Not friendly to Soy Free Folks
