Bangkok Cuisine - Edit
Long time customer. I do believe any, or most, dishes can be made vegan, just let them know. the fish sauce is replaced with a delicious mushroom sauce. they're educated on the topic, much appreciated. their golden fried tofu and companion sauce is p good.

How can everything be so good?! - Edit
This place has tons of vegan options, clearly marked on the menu, should get 5 stars! Curry, soups, noodles, rice, apps, dessert you really can't go wrong with what you order here.
Read moreI've also called in while driving once and the hostess helped me place an order of a noodle dish I forgot the name of and was very knowledgeable on what was vegan and what wasn't in the restaurant.

Going downhill - Edit
Since the location on South Virginia closed down, I've noticed a decline in food quality here!
Read moreLast time we went, I ordered pad thai with tofu, no fish sauce no eggs. My server asked if I wanted it vegan and I said yes. My pad thai was so nasty, and tasted like straight sugar. I sent it back and they re-made it. Just as bad the second time. The third plate they brought tasted different, but still not like the pad thai that I've ordered at least two dozen times before. My server explained to me that the chef was mistaken and thought that vegan meant no sugar - then why did it taste like sugar lol? I specifically said no eggs no fish sauce - never said anything about sugar? New chef? I said please don't bring me a fourth plate of disgusting food.
I've ordered carryout twice since then and each time the pad thai is messed up! Idk what happened but I'm done wasting money here when there's plenty of other Thai places in Reno that understand what "vegan" means
Pros: Fair price, large portions, Takeout available, Great staff

Best Thai in Reno - Edit
Make sure to ask for vegan, which they don't get angry about. Pumpkin curry is so delicious.

Yummy food, vegan options - Edit
My favorite dish here is the Bean Thread Salad (Yum Woen Sein), but if you're vegan or vegetarian, ask them to substitute fried tofu in place of the meat. I've ordered it this way twice, and though the servers questioned it both times (fried tofu is not listed as an option on the menu for this dish - though it definitely should be), they were able to accommodate me both times. It was so, so good! I only wished I lived in Reno so I could visit this restaurant frequently - I swear I would order this dish every single time!

Cons: Not specifically a vegan or vegetarian restaurant, Parking is less than optimal

Not vegan?? - Edit
The first time I ate here as a vegan, the server assured me they could make curry without fish sauce. It was delicious! The second time I went in, the server (different than the first) said that all sauces were pre-made and were not vegan, so I had stir fry veggies and rice. Because of the confusion, I find it easier not to go here. Make sure you ask about the sauces.

I've eaten in many, many Thai restaurants before and after becoming Vegan. From Manager to bussboy they are highly knowledgeable and caring about Vegan needs. And, the food? Don't bother asking! Just get over there now!

Very tasty vegan options - Edit
This is one of our favorite places to eat in Reno. We love the Mixed Veggie Pad Thai (hold the egg and fish sauce) and the fresh mixed veggie spring rolls, but everything I've had there was very tasty. Most entrees can be made vegan by opting for tofu as the "meat" and by making sure no egg or fish sauce are used. Some sauces are pre-mixed and can't be made vegan, but in most cases, they can accommodate it. I have been very impressed with how knowledgeable the staff is about veganism and what it entails.
