Cute cafe at the heart of port Jefferson - Edit
Great location, across the street from the Bridgeport Ferry. They have added quite a few vegan options . For breakfast they have vegan pancakes with whip and berries and a tofu wrap with veggies and a dipping sauce. Side choices are home fries , coleslaw and a side salad.
Read moreThe coconut lavender latte is delicious and their hibiscus decaf iced tea was quite refreshing. They stay busy and it’s a small location to there’s is a bit of a wait but it was worth it.

Menu items were clearly labeled as vegan and they had dairy-free milk options. Food tasted great, had good portion sizes, and came out quickly!

The vegan chickpea wrap is really good, vegan pancakes are amazing and taste just like buttermilk pancakes. The coffee is my favorite on Long Island. Port Jeff is a nice place to visit.

I’m a port Jefferson local and am so grateful to have this wonderful restaurant available so close. The owners are very friendly and the food is always delicious. It’s the perfect spot for vegan and non vegans to meet as both will be perfectly accommodated.

Walking into this place there were so many people, so right away that is a good sign. Then i got my food and i could tell why. The food was so good. They have vegan/vegetarian options. It was a cute little cafe with great food.

I would give this place 5 stars if I could. I’m addicted to the vegan french toast! The vegan burger is great too! My boyfriend (omnivore) loves it as well. They even have a lot of vegan sweets and candy to buy at the counter as well.

locals is awesome. they have several vegan options including french toast and pancakes (they even have vegan whipped cream). i love their coffee as well as the vegan baked goods they keep up at the register. the only thing is that the vegan items aren’t labeled as vegan on the main menu board, so just ask!

Delicious Vegan Options! - Edit
Locals is one of my favorite “local” eateries. The staff is super friendly and the interior has a really comforting vibe! They offer really delicious vegan options. Personal favorites are the strawberry quinoa salad (I get it with tofu) and the vegan pancakes.

Love this place! Great vegan options, I think the owner is vegan actually. I’ve yet to have anything bad here. I also like the turmeric latte. Tofu scramble wrap is always a favorite of mine, as well as the fries.
