Come hungry, leave hangry! - Edit
The portions are so tiny that you’ll need 3 or 4 sandwiches to feel like you’ve eaten anything, except you’d need a reverse mortgage in order to afford that.
Read morePort Jeff is as Port Jeff does. Go to Slurp. It’ll be busy, but you’ll get a delicious, hot vegan meal for 1/3 the price of this place that somehow, stands the test of time despite being a pretentious place to sniff a piece of lettuce they’re pretending is a whole meal.

Just go somewhere else. - Edit
The place is very loud and dirty. They boast being an alternative eatery while serving mostly meat/dairy, in a ton, TON of plastic, and charging way too much for it. Owners are rude. Just skip it and go to Local's or Joey Z's instead.

Good Wraps - Edit
Several vegan options. Got the falafel wrap and subbed a regalar wrap (comes with honey wheat) and did the lemon tahini sauce instead of the tzatziki. Also added hummus. Wrap was delicious and really filling. Cute little spot right in PJ.

Cool vibe, good food - Edit
Tiger lily is a cute cafe with indoor/outdoor seating and food for vegetarians and vegans. The prices are a bit high and the meals don’t come with any side.

Good options for vegetarians/vegans - Edit
Great if you’re vegetarian and are willing to modify menu items to be vegan. Had the tofu cutlet wrap with peanut sauce and it was great. Just let them know because some things in the drinks menu could have dairy like the soy vanilla frappe but the fruit smoothies are safe

Nice Place - Edit
I go here regularly. There are crafted vegan meals that are delicious and no need to be modified to fit a vegan diet. Limited options but definitely great for the area. Peanut Thai Tofu Wrap, Purple Rain Smoothie is what I always end up getting. Repetitive but so good I don't mind.

Best hummus on Long Island - Edit
My favorite is the Shaharazade wrap, absolutely hands down the best hummus wrap I’ve ever had. Their falafel is also arguably the best in long island.

Could be better - Edit
I was very excited about this place when I first heard of it. Cute atmosphere, good prices. However, vegan options aren’t plentiful and food is just okay.

Good Food / Rude Staff - Edit
Most of the time I find that the staff here is pretty rude and just not friendly at all. Anyone else? I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with this as well as some close friends of mine, but I keep going back because the food is actually pretty good. Wish they had more vegan options though that weren’t just salads. Smoothies are delicious though!

Yup! So sad that it's probably still like this (my review was back when I still lived on Long Island). I'm now in Orland FL and everyone's nice here haha (AMAZING) Vegan Restaurants, too!

Some stellar items! - Edit
They have super delicious smoothies and they have vegan goodies from "This Chick Bakes" in Queens and they are THE BEST. There weren't a ton of vegan food options so I got the hummus wrap and found it a bit lacklustre. Will definitely go back though just for the smoothies and desserts!

Glorious Cafe, Meh Food - Edit
Tiger Lily is the best place imaginable to hang out with friends chatting and drinking juice or coffee, the decor is wild and the seats are comfy - they even have books for customers to read. But the food on offer is pretty uninspiring. There aren't that many vegetarian or vegan options and they are fairly basic things like hummus wraps. Don't get me wrong, I love a hummus wrap and Tiger Lily's hummus wrap is tasty, it's just that when I eat out I like to have something I can't make so easily at home. So, as a local, when I want a meal in Port Jeff I tend to go to other places where the atmosphere may not be so electric but the food is more interesting. But if I want to take visiting friends out for an afternoon in Port Jeff, Tiger Lily is always on the itinerary: its a great place to sip and chat.

Eclectic and Tasty - Edit
We stopped in Tiger Lily for a late afternoon snack. Although, their food offerings are not completely vegan, they do have a few vegetarian offerings as well as standard coffee shop and juice bar fare. We split a brie and pear sandwich that was pretty darn tasty. The decor is artsy and eclectic and would be a good place to chill with a book or hang out with some friends.
