Fancy dark chocolates - Edit
This place is inside a market located inside Grand Central Terminal. They sell fancy chocolates, ideal for people looking for a gift to bring to someone before they take a train. As far as I can tell, the only vegan chocolates are the dark chocolates--this is true not only here, but in most chocolate places (such as Hotel Chocolate across the street). When I visited, they offered dark vegan chocolate barks, "break-ups," and bars. I had the "break-up"; it was fine. What I am unsure about is whether there is much that distinguishes the vegan dark chocolate here from what you would find in any somewhat upscale chocolate place.

Pros: Good chocolate, good for a gift, a couple of vegan chocolates, convenient for train riders
Cons: Not sure what distinguishes this place

What distinguishes Li-Lac is that it is made in NYC and the company has been in business for more than 90 years. They make small amounts in their Brooklyn factory, which is open for public visits (not sure about during Covid), and their chocolate is freshly made. Li-Lac is a New York City institution and worthy of our continued support!
