Nice food, original, and very reasonably priced, at 28 euro per person this is actually quite cheap (for a starter/soup , main dish and dessert). Especially since it's not the classic 'wrap' 'burger' or 'salad' type of food.
Atmosphere: It did feel a bit crowded though.
What was annoying is that there was quite a mix up with our reservation. I made a reservation by telephone and that was OK. Then in the afternoon I got a call back that they had made a mistake and were actually fully booked. Then another hour later I again got a call that we could go for dinner. Strange.
But glad we made it there in the end😄

We had a wonderful evening here. There is a standard 3 or 4 course menu, which changes every four weeks. A true culinary experience in a cozy restaurant, with friendly staff. It truly shows that these people love what they do. Take your omni friends here and show them that vegan food is more than salads.

Deliciously creative and beautifully served vegan food, yummy personalised mocktail, great friendly service and and allround lovely place to dine. I took the four courses and had a nice round belly by the end. Strongly recommended!

Je wordt in een kleine en modern ingerichte zaak ontvangen door vriendelijke gastvrouwen. Vandaag konden we kiezen vóór een drie of vier gangen menu. De gerechten werden prachtig gepresenteerd en waren voortreffelijk van smaak. Deze zaak is een grote aanrader voor veganisten alsook voor mensen die graag eens willen proeven wat veganistische keuken inhoudt. Aanrader van formaat voor een zacht prijsje.

Read moreThis restaurant is different than most other vegan eatery’s, since they don’t serve salads and burgers like most others, their seasonal menu’s consist of burgundian-style dishes that even non-vegans will love. I had Hasselback Potatoes as the starter and the soba noodles with Asian vegetables as my main dish. Beautiful presentation and most of all, good food!
We didn’t get a dessert sadly, but everything on the dessert menu looked very tasty.
Will go back there when in Hasselt!
This time to change my parents’ thought about vegan food.
Pros: Good-looking and tasty food, Fairly prized, Yummy mocktails

As a strict vegan going out for lunch or dinner is not always easy. Especially when you want to take your wife out for something nicer than a burger or a salad.
Read moreLento is the solution to this problem, you can have a quick bite, but you can also have a very nice three course dinner, with beautiful, extremely tasty dishes and heavenly desserts.
Best of all, prices are pretty reasonable for the location.
Add to that the great service, the hostess is always ready to answer any questions you might have, and you have a recipe for a great lunch or dinner experience.

Lento was a cool place to visit while I was in Belgium. It was nice knowing everyone the menu is safe. I had the eggplant cannelloni with cashew ricotta and salsa verde. My husband has a 3 taco plate that was chili, veggie fish and jackfruit. The drinks were good as well. Downside is it was reservation only so we had to wait another day to try to get in and the portions are extremely small and pricey. We went to get snacks after dinner.

And we almost decided not to have dessert... What a shame that would have been! We had a tapas dinner which means you can choose from 9 smaller dishes. We choose 7: nachos, fried mini peppers, stuffed sweet potato, patatas bravas, quesadilas,fresh tomato salad, and - my favourite - bbq cauliflower. Heavenly!
