Lebaneat at York Railway Station provides the ultimate treat for Vegans (and I am sure equally for non-Vegans too)! If you, like us, have had that feeling of being second-, third- or even lower-deckcitizens when it comes to eating out, then it is high-time you visit Lenaneat at York Railway station.

I had a delicious lentil soup with Lebanese bread and my husband had an inspired pasta dish (Kushari). Both were delicious and the staff were lovely, very helpful and charming.
We will certainly make it our first port of call on future trips to York.

Surprise vegan gem in station - Edit
Encountered this stand in the station and was impressed with the vegan options. Two wrap flavors: spicy vegan wrap with eggplant and a falafel wrap, plus soup and packaged cakes. Flavors were quite tasty. Nice convenient place to grab a bite in the station, open early and into the evening.
