Good vegan breakfast sandwich - Edit
Delicious ciabatta sandwich with marinated tempeh. It was huge-qlmost like a BLT. My only criticism is that the bread to tempeh ratio was a bit off.

Delicious breakfast - Edit
Very very tasty breakfast, the tofu was absolutely gorgeous. Only criticism was that there was a bit too much oil for my liking, but it was a delicious breakfast nonetheless!

Second time just as good - Edit
Can’t recommend enough! Visited during Winter 2021, and again yesterday when visiting York again. Partisan was the one place (attraction or restaurant) we knew we must visit on our return to York! There are an array of flavours and rustic colours across the vegan breakfast and it’s very well cooked. The tofu scramble was a little more runny this time and the flat mushrooms a little less succulent at the stalk but still my favourite breakfast selection anywhere ever. I believe the flat mushrooms were a little more spiced/herby last time and would love that to return. Long black lovely also!

One of my go-tos for brunch in York - Edit
Fellow vegans, please try the vegan breakfast at Partisan. I visited last year with a friend and had the vegan breakfast, and it left so much of an impression on me that when taking a visiting friend out for brunch, we had to stop here and I had to have it again.
Read moreI'm not a massive lover of tempeh but even that is delicious, and the tofu scramble is insane. If you're in York looking for the vegan equivalent of a breakfast plate this is definitely one of the best places to get it.
We were waiting for our food for quite awhile however we were gifted a free coffee and vegan cake (super soft and moist) so we definitely weren't complaining.
In terms of vibe of the place, we were put into the new restaurant, which was maybe lacking in atmosphere a little compared to the small and quirky interior of the original.
Definitely will be going back again sometime soon!

Tasty vegan breakfast - Edit
Nice café and bakery in the centre of York. Full vegan breakfast is substantial and very tasty. It's very popular so booking is recommended, especially at weekends.

Amazing Vegan Full English - Edit
I loved my vegan full English breakfast this morning and my oat milk cappuccino. The quality of the food and the care taken in preparing it really impressed me - many places just offer "alternatives", while this cafe really put a nice effort in providing nice food for us😄five stars!

Oily - Edit
Ordered the tempeh sandwich and really was not a fan. The bread was soggy with oil, the plate was greasy and it left me feeling sick. Wouldn't order again and I would check other places before returning.

Vegan Breakfast to Break Your Fast - Edit
The vegan breakfast is a great option for your vegan needs. It was more filling than I expected and had a ton of flavor. Only wish I could have had a second piece of bread to help sop up the tasty juices.

Excellent vegan breakfast - Edit
The menu doesn't have loads of vegan options (mostly eggs!) but the vegan breakfast is varied and very good quality. It consists of roast potatoes, tomatoes on the vine, avocado, sourdough, tempeh, scrambled tofu and beans. The portion is average but it's all delicious.

Nice breakfast if you want to eat before 11am - Edit
For some reason, most breakfast places open after 11 so it was nice to find this opening at 9am. Although the vegan options are very limited they were delicious. The tempeh sandwich was really nice and same from the full breakfast, only it was a bit oily.

Decent vegan options - Edit
A place with good vibes, and decent vegan options (soup of the day, a sandwich, vegan breakfast and a meal on the specials menu). The soup was delicious, and the sandwich was nice but not hugely flavourful. Loved the bread!

Lovely vegan breakfast - Edit
Near to train station so popped for brunch last Thursday as we got in at 0940. Wasn't expecting it to be so busy, was packed. So a wait for table and for food to arrive but was lovely when it did 😄 Tofu scramble, marinated seitan, vine tomatoes, avocado, potatoes, beans, mushrooms and sourdough bread. Was yummy and filling.. too full to fit a cake in! Lots of vegan cake choices, should have taken one for later!

Lovely food but slow service - Edit
Went for brunch on a Thursday and it was packed! Waited to be seated then also waited at least 40 mins for the food. Food was lovely (both had the tempeh sandwich) and tasty and they have a massive outdoor space. NB they charge extra for plant milks which is annoying.

Incredible vegan brunch! - Edit
We were visiting York for a few hours and wanted to go somewhere with delicious vegan food that was also dog friendly. As soon as I saw the vegan breakfast on the menu I knew we had to go here! They serve it until 3pm & it’s very tasty! Scrambled tofu, marinated tempeh, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, avocado, homemade beans, potatoes and crispy sourdough! I gobbled it up and my husband equally loved it. They also have a very good selection of vegan cakes and we got some to take away. Other vegan options include a Korean rice dish that they can veganise as well as some tasty looking salads! It had a lovely ambiance too with friendly service.
Read morePros: Tasty vegan brunch , Great selection of vegan cakes , Dog friendly
Cons: Quite small so book to avoid disappointment! , A short walk from the centre of York
