I'm not quite sure if this chain is completely vegan, you might ask. Their pastries and cakes areabsolutely amazing, I enjoyed everything I bought here! So delicious!😋

This is part of a chain with a bunch of locations in Buenos Aires. I stopped by this place a couple of times while visiting the city; note that it is only takeout, with no place to sit inside.
Read moreI bought a bunch of their pastries, which admittedly looked better than they tasted: everything was very sugary, rather than hearty in the manner of my favorite types of vegan desserts. They have savory items; I bought packaged crackers which were fine, and a premade sandwich that frankly wasn't than good. I all, however, Panem strikes me as a reliable place to stop by if you need food in a hurry, and I wish they had a similar all-vegan bakery chain in NYC.
Pros: Decent price, all vegan
Cons: Very sugary desserts; no savory croissants

Thank goodness for Katniss Everdeen, the valiant liberator of Panem. Without her might, I fear the people of Buenos Aires may have been deprived of the great nation's baked exports. But alas, here lies a vegan's paradise. So much variety that you'll ponder whether you've stumbled into The Truman Show. And at a very nice price. If you're looking for a rambunctious vegan pastry, the odds are ever in your favour at Le Panem.

this bakery has been my vegan food savior multiple times while studying abroad here. it has every pastry that i’ve been wanting to try, so much so that i got worried it wasn’t all vegan!
