Beautiful location, alright food - Edit
The location of this restaurant couldn't be nicer, it's perfectly positioned to watch the sunset and the decoration is gorgeous. You sit right next to the sea, listening to the water crash on the stones. The menu does have its veggie options clearly listed which is great, a pleasant surprise in Dakar. I visited twice, tried the Moroccan tagine with couscous and vegan thieboudienne. The thieboudienne was interesting and flavorful but beware, there was a chili hidden in there which was super aggressive. I didn't like the tagine, it was 3/4 couscous, not enough flavor. Overall, beautiful space, worth a visit, alright food.

Several vegan options, gorgeous location - Edit
Not to be missed if you are in Dakar. After eating countless variations of the only vegan meal readily available in most restaurants (sautéed veggies and rice—with is admittedly delicious), you owe yourself a splurge and a proper vegan meal. The location can’t be beat—right on the water, with the lapping waves serenading you as you eat. The service is excellent, and they understand veganism and will work with you to veganize stuff. But you may not need to worry about that, as they have several well-marked vegan options right on the menu: Moroccan tagine with couscous (my favorite), vegan thieboudienne (one of the only vegan versions of this classic Senegalese dish available in Dakar), Indian rice, samosas over salad (delish), etc. The prices are high for Dakar (figure about 12,000-15,000 CFA per person if you have wine with your meal, less if you don’t), but it’s well worth it.

Cons: Expensive for Dakar—prices more like US/Europe

Nice food, little choice - Edit
Food is nice, though not much choice apart from Djeb and Indian rice. Specify "no mayonnaise" when ordering the veg starter.
