Refreshing experience - Edit
Great Italian food with prepared with local produce. Original dishes, friendly staff and good Italian wine (house wine is vino sfuso if you want to go for the cheaper option). At least one Vegan dessert in the menu (chocolate pudding). Rare to find such a good place with vegan options in a small town like Acqui Terme

Cons: Advisable to book in advance (quite small)

Beautiful restaurant, good food and wine - Edit
Donatella is the owner of this little, cosy "winery with kitchen", as she describes it. The restaurant is small and always very crowded, so reservations are a must. Ask for vegan menu when you book, she will be delighted to work out one for you. Nevertheless, they always have some vegan options on the menu, if you happen to be there by chance. We had a nice artichoke and pink grapefruit salad, and a cup made with phyllo dough filled with broccoli and pistachio as a starter. We were then offered a choice between wholemeal farro or kamut pasta with roasted veggies and breadcrumbs, or a dark rice risotto. We opted for the first, which was delicious. She also made us some wonderful seitan braised with Barbera wine and carrots. As a dessert, my partner chose a soy pudding with fresh strawberries, while I opted for her "Rising Sun Path", a tasting experience of dark chocolate, orange, coffee and rum. Highly recommended!
