Gotta love cig kofte - Edit
In this place you only get one choice: cig kofte. This is a traditional Turkish fish that translates as meatballs, however in Lagash they do not serve the mince in balls but rather as a sort of spread in a wrap. The mince is made with nuts, seeds and spices (or something like that, I'm only guessing) and out is one of the most delicious thing I've tried. You can also order a box with ingredients to make several wraps and take it home. Super cheap, delicious, nice staff and everything is vegan (except for the ayran in the drinks), what's not to love?

Delicious - Edit
The owner of this place is very kind. It is just in the middle of the Turkish neighborhood which is worth a visit for itself, its great to find a vegan place there. The best thing about it, it is the taste and it feels great for your body, i bet it is very healthy. 3 euros for a durum (it is a bit small) makes this place definitely a must in Brussels

Tasty and unique - Edit
This place specialises in one type of meal only but is totally worth a go. Vegan çiğ köfte is a paste - mix of nuts, bulgur, peppers, tomatoes and herbs. A unique flavour - feels good after the endless falafel and hummus. You get the paste either in a wrap (3 euros) or on a plate/in a box. Both are served with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, sprinkled with grenade syrup and lemon. The owner is a magician - he seems very dedicated to his work and prepares the food in a super meticulous manner, I was amazed how clean and neat was the entire process. Lovely!

good value - Edit
This is the closest vegetarian place to my hostel
Read moreThe food seems to be very fresh and healthy. And also very cheap! just 3 euro for a wrap of a good size. If you eat a lot even two is a good deal to be full on something healthy for just 6 euro.
Its all based on cig kofte though so basically one option to choose from but either in a wrap or open plate, so dont go expecting variety but i think this is probably the best value vego place in Brussels.

Nice - Edit
I was sad when I heard cig koftem had closed, then I heard of a new snack of that kind in the same street. The owner is really sympathetic and proud of his vegetarian business.

Pros: place is clean and welcoming, owner is nice and enthusiastic, food is simple but good and filling
Cons: only one item sold (can be repetitive), some find it too hot/spicy
