Good food and wonderful location - Edit
Several vegan options (check with your server, I did and found out the Thai Tea could be vegan). Most of the seating is outside, so it’s a great option for good weather. We’ve also gotten take away from them before, and it was fast and friendly.

Good food, knowledgeable staff - Edit
The vegan options were relatively limited, maybe 5 or 6, but what we got was quite tasty (chive dumplings, drunken noodle, and roasted eggplant). It’s definitely a location that is only good for dining on a warm and beautiful day, and there are only four seats inside, and all the other tables are on a deck outside with a beautiful waterfront view. The staff was really knowledgeable about vegan diets, and there were no issues ensuring they didn’t use fish or oyster sauce, or looking into whether there was shrimp paste in the Tom Yum (there is). Overall, a great option in Belfast!

Delicious! - Edit
Absolutely delicious, we ended up eating here two nights in a row as it became our favorite place in Belfast. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about which options can/can’t be made vegan. Food was delicious! We had the pad see ew and the red curry.

lucky find - Edit
We happened on Laan Xang for lunch when the local all-veg restaurant had over an hour wait for a table. We were so thankful for that change in plans! Just as described, the server explained all vegan options on the menu, and was completely knowledgeable about vegan needs. I ate the Drunken Noodles with tofu, it was so delicious. We also had the chive dumplings and salad with peanut dressing. We sat inside at one of the two tables, and the outdoor tables filled up despite the chilly day. We will absolutely return whenever we are back in Belfast.
