Reasonably good food, ok price - Edit
Tranquil location in an eco yoga hostel. We got the pad thai and the daily menu dish. The pad thai was pasta which was odd but actually tasted very good, the daily dish was ok but nothing special. Probably wouldnt go back in a hurry but equally no complaints either

Lovely food in beautiful garden - Edit
La Paz has a beautiful garden with a very relaxed vibe. The food is healthy and tasty. I also loved some of the yoga events that took place here. A most visit if you are looking for a relaxing ambience.

Nice food, nice place to stay - peaceful - Edit
A peaceful and relaxing space. I only went in for a lunch and had the dish of the day which was very filling and very tasty. The restaurant is very relaxing and there are lots of other activities like yoga happening there and so I decided to stay for a night.

I enjoy to get a pure vegetarian restaurant with fresh and delicious food. The garden is very beautiful and peaceful. I suggest to have a lunch in this place.

The original and still the best! - Edit
This place is just amazing... the very first hotel in San Marcos (try imagining how the spot looked back in 1993!), a true oasis of tranquility and good, good food. The friendly and knowledgable owner has created a wonderful space here... get lost in the winding footpaths through gardens and trees before sitting down to a different home-cooked meal every day, made mostly with ingredients right from their own organic garden. Delicious soups, creative plates, something tasty every day.
Read moreIt's been my go-to spot in San Marcos for this visit and hasn't disappointed me once. They are always willing to adjust things to make them vegan (which usually just means holding off on one sauce or another), and every plate comes bursting with colors and great Guatemalan flavors. I haven't stayed in the hotel or used the massage services but I imagine they are top notch. They're open every day from morning to night, stop by, chat with the owner, hang out with Zeus the golden retriever, and enjoy this little bit of vegetarian paradise in the jungles of San Marcos. Highly recommended!
